For the price you can't beat it. Very large and capable foot which mounts on the edge of the desk or against as wall if you wish. Nothing flimsy about it. Rotation is very easy however tilt takes some muscle to adjust, even after loosening the set screw. But it's likely something you set once and leave in place. Great cable management through the vertical tube. Could use some spacers in the hardware kit to mount on the monitor as most television brackets usually include.

if your desk has a support beam along the back this may not be the best, its sturdy and solid, but because my desk has one it hangs away from the desk about an inch further than it should i dont imagine itll cause problems but its not as aesthetically pleasing as i would hope.

I got this to help with my home office. I run a large second screen for my laptop. Easy to set up. It has help the screen in place. I wish the up and town, along with the tilting was a little easier to adjust but it works for what I need. Overall I would recommend.

I have limited desk space and wanted to remove the huge monitor stand that came with my 34" widescreen monitor so I could place some objects underneath. Trying a few options, I could not find anything to work. Until I came upon this product. It is relatively small, was easy to install, and allowed me to place my monitor both at the perfect location above my desk and at the correct height for improved ergonomics. It does lean slightly and sometimes wiggles when typing a lot, but my monitor is heavy at 15 pounds and the mount allows the screen to rotate so everything is level and stable. Overall great product.

I didn't realize the pole was so short from the website. The arm itself doesn't raise vertically, so you are stuck at just below the height of the pole, however you set it up. It adjusts well horizontally. I did what another reviewer suggested -- took out the arm and mounted it directly to the pole. That gave me the most height, which is what I was looking for. I almost sent back, but hate returning things, so I made it work. I know monitors are different sizes, but the highest I could get mine up is 7" from the bottom of the monitor to the top of the desk.

The individual arm segments are identical and can be easily removed with the included tools if a shorter reach preferred. The arms themselves can be shortened to your desired length with a hacksaw and drill, the trim caps pop back on covering all your work. Straightforward to assemble, instructions hardly needed but the included book is large and detailed. Only loses points for limited range of motion, poor quality hardware, and it could be a little sturdier. Great value, I can't imagine a cheaper or easier solution. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but figured this may help those like me who often modify items to fit very specific needs and wish to retain a professional, production appearance.
