  • Strong, Solid, Thoughtful Design. Exceptional Value for the Money. Best by a Mile.
Size: 30 inches
Exceptional value for the money. Rock solid support, great range of motion. The monitor mount’s vertical support pole is a sturdy 1.9” in diameter (others are mostly only 1.37” in diameter) and designed to allow monitor and power cables to be threaded discreetly down through the pole; exiting out the back just above the surface level of your desk. The extra-wide diameter permits the threading of full-size power plugs, HDMI, and DisplayPort cables through the support pole. A two-part plastic plug can be placed into the top of the pole after running your cables for a nice and tidy look. Unfortunately, the vertical pole only seems to be available in a 16” height; and if your are unlucky enough to have a stupidly designed monitor like my 28” 4K Samsung U28E590D, with the VESA attachment point at the extreme top edge of the monitor, this will likely be too short to earn you any extra room on the surface of your desk. In fact, it hangs the monitor several inches lower than the monitor’s own included stand. * I tried mounting my monitor upside down, as flipping the display orientation in Windows and MacOS is simple as can be, but my Samsung Monitor just wouldn’t submit. I don’t know if it is a polarization issue or a LCD under stress issue; but the flipped monitor winds up entirely washed out (dark, reflective, and deeply purple tinted) on the button half when viewed directly as one normally would. Mounted upside down, one can only see the full screen clearly by leaning the monitor 45° or more backward, which obviously is not practical at all. Other monitors might better handle being mounted upside down, and one should attempt this if they have a monitor with a similarly off-center VESA point. I’m disappointed in mine, as mounted upside down I only needed 12-13” of the 16” pole to have 6-7” of clearance under my monitor. ... show more

  • So glad I bought this
Size: 30 inches
I have a triple-monitor set-up for work and have been using a triple-monitor stand. Every time I bumped it or the desk, the monitors went out of alignment. I was looking for the answer to a sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, mounted stand. These came highly reviewed by my professional community, so I took the leap and bought 2 of them. I left the center monitor on my original stand and just removed the arms. These monitor stands are great! They were relatively easy to install. I seem to have a lot of extra pieces, but they don't seem to be necessary to the way I installed it. I LOVE the way the wires go inside the central tube so I don't have a nest of wires trailing down. They were really easy to adjust, but with enough tension that they don't sag or re-adjust with time. The stands are sturdy and they don't bounce or go out of alignment if I bump the desk. My only complaint is that the range of motion on them is a little limited for my purposes. I have three 24" monitors. As I said, I kept the original stand for the central monitor, which is slightly off-center because of a built-in USB hub on my desk. One of the monitors just can't quite reach with that off-center central mount and makes me have a more severe angle to my monitor. It's certainly workable, but not ideal. I plan to replace that central mount in the coming months. These are great stands, regardless of price (which these are very economical). I highly recommend them. ... show more

  • A good product nearly ruined by awful instructions.
Size: 30 inches
This is reasonably good monitor stand. When fully assembled, it has decent range of motion: it saves desk space, and doesn’t require drilling. Previously, my keyboard was right at the edge of the desk and was uncomfortable to use for more than an hour or so. Now, I can fit the keyboard + wrist rest and still have a few inches. But, and it’s a big but: the instructions regarding both tilt and rotation are horrible. The manufacturer must have realized this because they included a separate page which, somehow, has even less helpful instruction. The key issue is droop. By default, it will be at an obviously-downward angle. No big deal, just tighten something, right? Wrong. The added instructions say to tighten a specific nut using the Allen key (one of three included, for some reason… just use the same-sized drive recess for all of the bolts.) Well, you can tighten that thing until you’ve nearly cracked your monitor from tightening it so hard… it’s going down, down, down until it droopier than the cartoon character. What you *actually* need to do is *loosen* the boot, set it to a few degrees above where you want it, and *then* tighten it. There is some kind of block at 90 that prevents you tilting it up while the bolt is in. Once you’re past that you’re good. I messed around trying to get it to be 90 degrees that I almost returned it. Silly instructions. Anyway, nearly all mounts will sag a little bit on the x axis, which is why this mount has a slight pivot to allow you to compensate. If you have a requirement for straight lines and can’t deal with your mount being ~88 degrees to your desk with a slight pivot to the monitor to make it level, then this isn’t for you. I’d recommend a mount/arm with an arm closer to the desk. Those are easy to get to exactly 45 degrees. (Personally, as long as the monitor is level, I don’t care.) Somebody else stated this didn’t have the ability to rotate. They are incorrect. Other than that… there isn’t much to say. 10 minutes to install, 30 minutes wasted with one bolt. Hopefully, they address this in the instructions to make this a 5-star product. Oh, and it comes with M4 and M5 bolts if your monitor doesn’t have them. If you’re using a screw driver, they’re 3/16 and 5/32” hex bolts. ... show more

  • Works great and is very sturdy
Size: 30 inches
I ordered this for a double width Samsung monitor and I am very happy with the purchase. The mount is easy to put together with clear instructions and all tools and hardware included. The clamp is very sturdy and has a lot of adjustability for a variety of desktop thicknesses. The mount also has a lot of adjustability in all directions depending on what you need for your particular setup. This made a significant difference in clearing up desktop space while putting my monitor at a slightly higher level for viewing. This is a great item. ... show more

  • Obnoxious assembly for a single monitor mount.
Size: 30 inches
My god, I've assembled dual and triple monitor mounts and had less of a hard time than I did putting this thing together. First off, WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY DIFFERENT SIZED ALLEN WRENCHES?! Did I count 4...5? You have to be kidding me. No mid-sized furniture should ever require more than two, LET ALONE A DESK ACCESSORY. This is the most needlessly complicated assembly I have ever seen in my life and it even came with written instructions. The washers behind the mounting plate is the most superfluous step I've ever seen. It's completely unnecessary unless you plan on having your monitor mounted for...hmmm, 10 maybe 15 years. 99% of consumers with a desktop setup at home don't even keep their monitors for that long. A MONITOR WILL NEVER NEED WASHERS TO HELP SUPPORT ITS WEIGHT BECAUSE THEY HARDLY WEIGH ANYTHING. I have done VESA mounts for decades and not a single one of them asked you to put washers behind the mounting plate and pray they stay at bay. Just my luck, the last one got jiggled out of place by my screwing in the other 3, and there I was with two toothpicks, playing the lamest game of hockey in world history, mumbling under my breath about how I hope contagious explosive diarrhea makes its way through whichever R&D team was responsible for this. I've mounted ultrawides and 55" TVs in buildings that didn't allow stud mounting (studless mounting plate, basically 30 nails to significantly redistribute the weight), and they didn't require washers. Amazon, I'm a big fan of your electric screwdriver, your shelving, your jeans. Stay the heck away from anything involving mounting. You suck at this, so badly. ... show more
