Description

Unleash a new level of landscaping with the WORX Nitro 80V cordless backpack leaf blower. Delivering impressive 80V battery power, this leaf blower breezes through cleanup and offers an innovative backpack design for comfort. Break free from the hassles of gas-powered blowers for lawn care with 80V of power. It comes from (4) 20V PowerShare Pro batteries that optimize power, resist damage, and stay cool for extended runtimes. They're also conveniently compatible with 140+ cordless tools within the PowerShare platform from WORX. Reach a max runtime of 230 min on low mode, 35 min on high, and 21 min on Turbo. Adapting the electric leaf blower cordless power is easy with features like the variable air-control nozzle. With variable air-control you can seamlessly switch between volume and speed modes to fit specific jobs. Volume mode reaches up to 800 cfm to clear big lawns fast, while speed mode delivers up to 150 mph to easily move stubborn wet leaves and other heavy debris. That robust output is enhanced with the sonic Turbine fan that takes in more air to blast out a forceful 22-newton jet stream to confidently conquer the most challenging tasks. Power meets endurance with the brushless motor 2.0 that delivers 40% more power and a 10% longer runtime than standard brushless motors. Plus, it gives 70% more and a 10X longer life than brushed motors. Simplify battery management with BASECAMP: An innovative compartment that holds all (4) batteries and connects to the backpack. You can use it to easily charge all batteries at once or interchange it with any other 80V equipment from WORX. Paired with the backpack, BASECAMP takes all the battery weight off the blower to enhance control and be easier on the arms. For even more ease of use, this battery leaf blower features variable speed control plus Turbo. Use it to refine the air speeds to fit the task—such as using lower speeds for gentle sweeping or powering up with Turbo mode to blast through heavy-duty work.

  • Buy it, try it, I think you are going to love it.
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
This is a powerhouse that lives up to the WORX reputation—I already own several of their tools and love the quality every time. Living in an area buried in leaves constantly, this backpack blower blasts through piles with 800 CFM and 150 MPH effortlessly, making yard cleanup a breeze even on full power. Battery lasts about 20-30 minutes at max speed for heavy sessions, which covers my needs perfectly, and I'm sure throttling down would extend it further for lighter tasks. At just 115 lbs and 4'10", handling this unit is no problem at all—the ergonomic backpack design distributes weight comfortably without strain. You simply cannot go wrong with WORX tools—they're reliable, powerful, and built to last. ... show more

  • It's ok for what it is
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
It's ok. I'm a pro and certain municipalities are beginning to ban gas blowers so I bought this out of necessity First, this is probably one of the longer lasting battery blowers that I've tried, but that isn't saying much. The battery powered lawn equipment is no where near ready for prime time. That's not a WORX thing, that's every single company. These tools all drain batteries way too fast. As a company, we can not buy 200 batteries to get us through the day and then spend all night charging the 200 batteries As for the power. PLEASE disregard ANY reviews pretending this is anywhere near gas powered. It's nowhere near gas powered, but it is one of the more powerful battery powered ones I've tried. Like I said originally, it's ok. I do feel like this is one of the better battery powered units available across all brands though ... show more

  • Just over a month in and I regret this purchase terribly!
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
I've had this for just over a month and the batteries seem to be getting weaker already because it's lasting a little less than using it on high, when I'm using it mostly on medium/medium high. I have a small area that requires blowing. I've been able to finish the entire area by manipulating the power, but today I only got through about 1/3. Of course, it's the end of the season and there are more leaves, but this was a terrible performance. My first thought was to buy another set of batteries to double my time, but what do you know? Just buying another set of batteries would cost the same as buying another entire unit!!! What a rip off! Bottom line: if you're using this for a moderate amount of leaves, DON'T. ... show more

  • Almost rivals our gas-powered backpack blower!
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
To say we have a lot of leaves is an understatement. We already have a gas-powered backpack blower, but we wanted another one so my husband and I could both get after the leaves to tackle them faster. However, I had trouble getting the gas one started due to the strength needed to pull the starter cord, so I went looking for an electric one. We already had a number of Worx tools that utilize the Power Share Battery system (2 lawnmowers, a couple of hand-held leaf blowers, a couple of leaf blower/vac/mulching devices, a large standing leaf mulcher to place over a large trash can, a couple of weed-wackers, and a chainsaw) and I knew the quality would be good. This item handles leaves like a pro and with the 4 batteries it lasts a good long time (I would say at least 45 minutes before needing to trade out). We have plenty of batteries (see list of tools above) so it's easy to keep changing out as needed to complete a task. Thanks to the padding in the straps and the two chest straps/clips this thing is also very comfortable to wear for an extended time. Overall, this beauty works incredibly well and I am so pleased I got this. ... show more

  • Lightweight and easy but limited to light blower jobs not using the Turbo trigger.
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
Excellent.. love this product just can’t use Turbo option for longer than 15 minutes or 4 pack batteries drain. Fast recharge and used spare 20 ohm batteries. Lightweight and easy to adjust the fit.

  • Great battery powered leaf blower
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
This worked amazing, I ran it for 2.5 hour on a little past low. Initially some of the reviews made me nervous if the batteries would last long enough. I have a 1/4 mile circle driveway with lots of trees and flower beds and was almost able to finish. If my husband was controlling I'm sure he would have finished. Great product would totally reccomend ... show more

  • ergonomically poor design
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
It's impossible to push down the blower key AND the turbo lever with one hand. Who would make a product like that? The hose is a bit too short as well. The backpack straps are sized for a 9 year-old. I had to let all the straps out all the way to get it on. Even then it's a struggle. It can't be used without the backpack because its too heavy otherwise. There are no power indicators visible to the operator. You would have to take it off your back, flip it around, press the buttons to see power levels, then put the backpack on. ... show more

  • Not sure what other's are complaining about ... Try it!
Style: 800CFM 80V Blower w/(4)5.0 Ah Batteries
A few things to help counter some of the negative reviews I saw that really made my decision feel like a giant roll of the dice when it really wasn't. 1. If you made the choice to shell out the the money, don't complain about the price. 2. Runtime has been awesome and I've been pretty conservative with the turbo mode, only using it when a lot of leaves have started to bunch up. What kind of savage just goes full on turbo for 20 minutes and is confused when it drains the battery fast? 3. I don't know anything about estimating how strong it is other than trusting the numbers I've read ... but I used to walk around my yard with a chorded Worx tri-vac in one hand and one of the 20v leafjets in the other ... and thing is way more powerful and it's cut my leaf blowing time in half. I was really, really torn about getting this. The few reviews I saw weren't great and the price was super steep. But ... I can either spend twice as long blowing leaves from the end of August to December ... or pay someone else to do it which by the end of the year I could buy 2-3 of these with what they charge in my neighborhood. I also have so many other Worx products and they've honestly all been great and the few I've had issues with, their customer service was also great. If you're like me and willing to spend a little extra to have something that isn't loud, doesn't smell like gas and fits in with your tool eco-system ... ignore the other reviews and at least give it a try. Also, my review is for 4 starts because the dual charger that's pictured does not actually ship with this product, and despite it being pictured ... they will not be sending me one. I got that confirmation directly from Worx. ... show more
