Description

The Worx Nitro 20V Compact Brushless 1/2” Drill/Driver was designed for those who need pro-grade power in cramped spaces. With a body length of just 6”, this compact drill fits between wall studs and drawers, as well as narrow environments that plumbers and electricians work in. The high-efficiency brushless motor runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful, and delivers a 10X longer life than drills with a standard brush motor. Paired with 2-speed functionality, this extra power allows the drill/driver to produce no-load speeds up to 2100 RPM for consistently smooth productivity. And with the variable speed trigger, you can increase and decrease the RPMs accordingly to fit the needs of the project. With 18+1 clutch positions, this compact drill/driver allows you to set the right level of torque to handle everything from routine driving to heavy-duty drilling. The drill delivers a max torque of 500 in-lbs. to effortlessly complete high-demand projects—such as those involving steel or thick lumber. The durable 1/2” all-metal ratcheting chuck streamlines quick bit replacements and offers superior retention under demanding conditions. Apart from its competitively small size, the compact 1/2" drill offers many features to enhance convenience and comfort. The LED work light activates with the trigger to brighten your work area and stays illuminated for 20 seconds after the trigger is released. And with its 3-lb. lightweight profile and rubber GRIPZONE handle, the drill limits user fatigue and remains easy to maneuver during extended projects.

  • Way way better them my old ones.
Style: 20V 1/2” Brushless Drill/Driver (Tool Only)
I bought this because I have their outdoor power tools and batteries. The thing I like the best is the comfort and sense of control. They will continue buying their other tools for sure.

Package or box was damaged , as received . Have not tried the product yet, charging now the two enclosed batteries. Product looks good and hopefully will meet my expectations.

  • Lots of power/ better than brush motor types
Style: 20V 1/2” Brushless Drill/Driver
I specifically wanted this compact version that was only available from Amazon...it has a great balance when in one hand use...The price here from Amazon turned out to be a significantly better savings than at any other source including the mfr direct source...Though it was listed in many places over the holidays, only Amazon had availability... The power is phenominal if you have used the brush motor previous technology, you will be quite impressed both with battery consumption and brushless motor's power delivery... ... show more

  • Nice Brushless Drill/Driver w/ Two Batteries
Style: 20V 1/2” Brushless Drill/Driver
I ordered a Worx cordless pressure washer that uses two batteries at once, and I think I mentioned in that review that I was worried about tracking batteries in pairs due to the two-battery requirement but said that probably wouldn't be an issue since I didn't own other Worx power tools. Well, here I am now with a second Worx power tool...a drill/driver that includes two batteries but only uses one at a time, and I'm torn. I like the idea of Power Share, but an important aspect of using multiple rechargeable batteries of ANY type is that you're ultimately at the mercy of the battery with less capacity and longevity. If you're not using both batteries fairly evenly, then popping two random batteries from your collection of Power Share batteries just strikes me as potentially problematic. You're just not going to get the most out of your batteries that way. I completely understand that this drill/driver isn't designed to work this way, but I suppose I just wish all Power Share-compatible tools gave you more power with two batteries and always supported two batteries but maybe gave you the option to just use one. That said, if you use these batteries in rotation and discharge them pretty evenly, then I suppose I can get behind investing more in this battery ecosystem. I think I'd be more apt to designate some of your Power Share batteries as "single" batteries and others you'd use in two-battery devices as pairs, even going so far as to label them. (For example, singles could be labeled 1A, 1B, 1C, etc., whereas pairs could have both batteries comprising each pair labeled 2A, 2B, 2C, etc.) Anyway, sorry for all the battery talk, as I don't want that to completely overshadow that this is a pretty good value as far as brushless drills/drivers go, especially with the extra battery. Better still, if you already own certain Worx power tools that use two batteries, then you may even already have a two-battery charger that'll make managing your batteries (or pairs of batteries) much easier. I can recommend this drill/driver as long as you go into it with an understanding of how to use batteries between devices, as you really don't want to get too reliant on a battery ecosystem that encourages you to use two batteries in some tools and a single battery in other tools unless you're tracking your battery use or labeling the batteries accordingly to ensure the best possible experience. ... show more

  • Lots of air flow..
Style: 20V 1/2” Brushless Drill/Driver
What it comes with.. The drill, a 2 amp charger, two 2 amp batteries, belt hanger clip, 2 screws to put the clip on (you only need one so if one gets stripped out, you have a spare), a carrying / storage bag, and a double ended phillips/flat bit.. The drill with only the battery installed weighs 3 pounds 1.4 ounces.. So add the belt clip and the bit that you put in it, and that will add a little more to the weight.. But still, that is decently light for a drill.. Especially one that has a 1/2" chuck (which I like because too many things do not fit in the 3/8" chucks that some drills come with). One of the first things that I noticed was the amount of air that goes through the drill.. You have it near your face and it feels like you are being fanned by the mass air flow that this drill produces.. I have never had any kind of a drill, corded or cordless, that has produced so much air flow as this drill does.. I guess this is good because you know it will never overheat.. Since it has a 1 and 2 for speeds, this will help adjust the speed a bit for slower, and more powerful torque, or faster speeds for faster cuts.. I love that it comes with 2 batteries.. Too many things only come with one battery.. and what makes it worse is when you only have one battery, and it takes an hour for it to charge.. Since the battery charger has a max output of 2 amps, and it is a 2 amp battery, that means 1 hour to get it charged up.. So with a spare battery, you will not have to worry about it not being a fast charger.. The light on this thing is pretty bright.. Brighter them most things that I have used in power tools.. I have craftsman, Denali, Worx, Greenworks, etc stuff.. and this has got to have the brightest light for the working area that I have ever seen from a power tool like this.. That is a good thing.. The bag is nice to have, and is plenty big to keep, store, or carry the drill in.. But one note.. This is just a mid grade bag.. It is not a really heavy duty bag, so it will take a little abuse, but do not expect it to take a huge about of abuse.. Overall, I just can not find anything to really complain about.. I could complain about it not being a fast charger, but with 2 batteries, that is a minor.. ... show more
