Product itself is amazing. 4 stars because the lids on both bottles were not tight and product was all over the inside of the box. No damage to the outside or shipping box, lost product simply because the lids were not on all the way.

there is probably some product missing due to the cap not being on tight enough. i have used the system once so far and so far my hair is different. i'm not as itchy anymore but time will tell how my scalp and hair feel over time. i will try and update as time goes on

I decided to give this a try as somewhat of a "scalp reset" after moving to an area with extremely hard water and had noticed my hair was starting to get very dull, weighed down, and my scalp was producing so. much. oil. and getting itchier. I took all dry shampoo out of my beauty routine in case it was clogging the pores of my scalp and causing the excess sebum, and bought both a filtering shower head AND installed a water softener in our home. None of it helped. Enter Malibu C. It smells just like mouthwash (which I happen to like) without smelling medicinal. I will say that the powder treatment stings like a mother at first, especially if you have spots of inflammation on your scalp. I decided not to freak out about the burning sensation and figured it was just a necessary evil of letting it do its thing. It became less painful with each treatment, which I took as a good sign. It's been about 3 months now, and although I have yet to refill my supply of the powder packets and have simply been using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair feels so much healthier, shinier, my scalp less itchy, and, best of all, my super oily scalp is a thing of the past! I can go three full days between washes without that wet, greasy look that had been plaguing me the morning after a wash. It wasn't an overnight transformation but ended up being the reset my scalp needed!

I've struggled with scalp issues my entire life... dandruff and folliculitus. I have used prescription shampoos, salon products, apple cider vinegar rinses, Melaleuca oil... while they all seemed to decrease the problems, they never FIXED it. I wash my hair every other day, and by the second day, my scalp would always be extremely itchy. Not anymore! I've been using this set for three weeks now, and my scalp issues are non-existant. GONE. And I can even hold out for three-day blowouts too, with the help of dry shampoo. How I use it: Apply shampoo to fingertips so I can get it closer to my scalp, then once it's spread through my scalp, I start massaging it to the ends. (I have long hair). No need to repeat after rinsing. I move on to the conditioner, and apply it the same way (close to the scalp), then I use a shower comb to work it to the ends. For extra moisturizing, I'll work regular conditioner through the middle of my strands to the ends, and let it sit for about five minutes before rinsing. My hair always feels silky soft after it dries, very healthy. I did try the weekly packet the first time I used this set. I don't know what it's supposed to do, but my hair felt, for lack of a better word, gunky after it dried. So I haven't used it since. I might give it another go sometime, and if there's improvement, I'll edit my review. In the meantime, I don't plan on purchasing this trio again, but I'll buy the shampoo and conditioner separately. Fan for life!

My teenage son had a flaky scalp, making him super self-conscious. Nothing we tried was helping. From store-bought shampoos and serums…still flakes. His stylist recommended this shampoo and conditioner, and his flakes were gone within a month. He's been using it for about 5-6 months and not a flake in sight. I first bought this set in February 2025, and it lasted 5 months with washing every other day. A little goes a long way, so if you are off by the price, don't be. 10/10 highly recommend!!
