A good upgrade, but its important to lower the deck before installation.

I got hasty when installing this by shutting off the mower and removing the fender where this goes when installed before fully reading the instructional diagram. As it turns out, I should have first used the manual control function to put the mower deck down to its lowest level, but I hadn't done that. The end result was that I wound up having to remove the screws that held in the mower deck and blade wheel in order to (with difficulty) get this module installed, then replace the screws and reinstall the mower deck and reattach the blade wheel to finish the job. If I had lowered the deck before starting, the process probably would have taken maybe 15-20 minutes instead of the hour that I struggled getting it together. If you follow the instructions instead of making the mistake that I did, you just remove six screws, take out the corner fender, slide this module in where the fender was, plug in the power connector to the module, slide the module the rest of the way into its recess, then put the six screws in to secure the whole thing. I found that the module only engages when the mower does its edge routine, and it seems to do a better job of getting that part of the process than it did for the half dozen or so times that it did the edges without the module installed. The one caveat about this module that should be known by those with very steep yards is that the weight of the module once installed will make the mower's ability to navigate high inclines reduced by two degrees; however, I had no problem since the inclines on my yard are only about 15-20 degrees at most.

Appears to be completely useless. The mower isn't precise enough to follow the edge of the lawn to "cut-to-zero" anything. I've even went back and manually trained the lawn area hoping this would work and the mower is still afraid to get close enough to do a proper edge cut. If you care about the transition from lawn to hardscape, you're better off buying one of the Worx mowers that use a parameter wire (which is what this mower replaced). A ton more work to install, but once you have it set properly, it'll cut to the edge perfectly.

WR310 cut-to-zero module upgrade. best ever...

Wow, despite the IKEA-like instructions adding the cut-to-zero module was easy. Six easy to find screws and the old plastic fender comes off. plug in the module plug, snap everything in place and put in the new six screws. All in all it took 20 minutes from the time I received the package until the time I was mowing again. Thanks Worx good module design.

The Cut-to-Zero edge cutting attachment for the Worx Landroid Vision Cloud works very well. It cuts very close to the edge of the lawn. I purchased the Cut-to-Zero when I bought the Landroid Vision Cloud and I'm still a little undecided as to whether it's worth the extra money...or just use a normal mower to cut the edges instead. It was probably worth it, but if I was to do it again, I'd probably buy the Worx Landroid Vision Cloud first and run it for a while before considering buying the Cut-to-Zero attachment. It might just work great even without the Cut-to-Zero attachment?

Not easy to install. Sending it back along with the mower

In trying to install this for over an hour (cartoon instructions indicate remove 6 screws. I finally discoverd you have to remove 8. While talking to Worx tech support, the white drive spindle fell out of the WR310 mower. The tech support guy did not know how to put it back. Neither did I. AI Gemini helped, but after another half hour of wrestling with it, my patience ran out. I am sending back the WR310 in pieces so I don't need this accessory. I never used it; could not get it installed.
