I am a beginner tattoo artist and am very happy with this pen. It is easy to assemble and fits well in my hand. It's lightweight also, so this helps with longer tattooing times. The battery lasts a really long time! The longest session I have done so far was 4 hours at 8v and the battery wasn't even half dead after the session. The positioning of the battery is great too. It's centered with the pen so it doesn't throw off weight distribution if you need to change the angle of the needle. This is a great practice machine with decent practice needle carts. I think some people don't realize these needles and inks aren't human grade quality. This is something that should be advertised better. My daughter bought this as a practice set to do work on herself, and of course mom being mom, I researched the brand and products in the kit. These are only meant to be used on practice skin!!! Please do not use this ink in your own or someone else's skin! That being said, the power supply hold a good charge and the machine itself works well. I personally like it better corded as opposed to the wireless.     • Works for 4 months then stops working
The media could not be loaded. I had the small gun for 4 months and it stopped working tonight while was tattooing my boyfriend so I switched to my cord one (the longer on) and it worked to it wasn’t the battery it’s the machine so now I have to buy a whole new machine mind you the one I bought I paid $80 for and I understand yea it’s Amazon but I had the long one for 1 years and 4 month and it still works ... show more

Very easy to use, beautiful machine, way better than traditional machine IMO. Power pack snaps right on, no wires or pedal. Just one button to press and hold to power on and adjust speed, literally plug and play (after fully charging the battery of course, USB-C). Simple twist to adjust the needle depth and the cartridge-style needles are so easy! You just push down and twist to lock in. The pen-style is much easier on my hands and wrist, also.
