I've been using this for years as I have multiple cats. Most of the time there's no smell unless they do something that nothing will mask… and It lasts a long time. Someone I know said that they were changing their litter every week and I asked why? When you even look at the information for this brand they mention once a month. I just keep adding to it when necessary and do a big change with the largest bag which does two litter boxes perfectly. I used to use Pet Food Express corn litter but they changed the formula so I went back to this a few years ago. It's a little bit naturally dusty and they do track some outside of the box but that's going to happen with anything that's healthy and not baking powder. When it comes to litter it's very important to keep in mind the health of the cat and not just the dust or tracking or scent of the litter. You don't want them ingesting something unhealthy when they're grooming themselves or breathing in something when they are digging in the litter box. This is a great brand! ... show more

This litter clumps properly! I told my mom to switch over to this litter because the litter she was using was not effective in clumping - so her cat's urine would go to the bottom of the litter box, dry and stick, and then get very smelly. I was skeptical and I am blown away at how much better this is than clay litter. I paid a little more but it lasts longer, and so is actually more affordable. It clumps well, there's less tracking. (I do use a mat in front of the box), and best of all - they've both stopped wheezing like they had asthma! I have 2 cats that share a box and I scoop once a day. I have wanted to switch from a clay litter to an alternative, for over a year. However, I was so confused as I read about different kinds and the reviews given. Finally decided to make the switch & so glad I did. I was concerned that my 14 year old, very large female would reject the change. I wasn't as concerned about the tiny 2 year old female ginger. Surprisingly, the older cat, was the first one in the litter box. Previously, when cleaning the supposed 99.9% dust free clay litter, I would put on goggles to protect my eyes, and, even a mask over my nose, for dust & odor. I do not have to do that anymore. As far as dust: I would say it is almost 100% better. Tracking: with my older, calmer cat, there is almost no tracking. But with the younger, crazy cat, there is still the same tracking as before. I am going to order the orange bag next time, to see if the larger litter has less tracking. I might even try mixing the two. Scooping & cleaning: is so much easier. Never sticks , and scoops right out. I did however, change to a stainless steel cat box at the same time, so that also, could have helped. Regarding odor: I believe it has helped considerably. I'm excited about this change. Should have done it sooner. The tracking is the only reason, I didn't give it 5 stars. ... show more

This is very good cat litter. There is very little dust, and odor control is good. My only complaint is the delivery of this item. Because it is very heavy (15 lbs), I subscribe to it online so I don't have to carry it from store to car to house. But this item is delivered through USPS and is always placed in a mail locker at the entrance to my condo complex, which defeats the purpose of me not having to carry it. I can't find any other way to address this issue on Amazon, so I am hoping someone will see this review and change the delivery method so it will be left on my porch like all my other Amazon subscriptions. ... show more

Found an 8 lb bag on marked down at the grocery store and never looked back. My sinus cleared when I poured the first litter pan full. Days go by, less 'dust' being vacuumed up in the room. You will have to get used to things potentially being a little smellier though since there is no fragrance like there is with other odor hiding litter.
