This is a handy little grass clipper. If the user concentrates on going easy, don't force it, it does a smooth job. I gave battery life 5 Stars to avoid downgrading the overall rating, and having used the clippers only once, I am still monitoring that aspect. It's easy to charge, just plug it in using a USB port for the 7.2 volts, similar to charging a cell phone. Mine charged quickly out of the box. Was really pleased with the clipper's efficiency, and it weighs less than a pound. This little tool is so handy. My backyard can easily get away from my husband and I, between our morning glory covered fence and bougainvillea. This trimmer made it so easy to get it all under control. I took off one star just because the safety feature push button makes it a little bit hard to use. I like the idea of a safety feature, but since the whole thing is stored disassembled its not totally necessary, or it could be a little easier to use. Its a good little lightweight trimmer, sharp too. Temper your expectations though. If you have large bushes or thick branches, you may be better off with a normal size trimmer. This more fits my situation, small bushes, some are low to the ground, most branches are not that thick. I like the portability of it too, no cord needed as some of the bushes are fairly spread out making it easier to get to. And the price is right too! You certainly could spend much more for a regular size trimmer with a battery or corded one plus extension cord. ... show more

I used the trimmer for the first time to trim some bushes that started to grow wild. I was impressed of how well the trimmer cut some medium size bushes. I also was able to cut weed that had grown in front of my flower bed and in between cracks of my driveway. I like using this small size trimmer better than my large trimmer. It's easy to use and lightweight. If you are using the trimmer and a thick piece of grass or tree bush sticks to the blade, the trimmer will stop working. Just remove the thick grass from the blade and the trimmer will work again. ... show more

My wife loves trimming the plants and the hedges on a Sunday. This made her life easier as it is light weight and works fine for her needs. I cannot stress how much she loves it because it cuts perfectly and the weight is a also big factor for her. She is not trimming anything super thick so I cannot comment on that aspect and she only does about 3 hours of gardening and maybe 30-40 minutes of that is trimming, so I have no idea how long it will run past the 40 minute marker but so far it has been great. ... show more
