I can't get UPS to process a claim, I can't get Amazon to process a claim and I am not finding a way to contact Benchmark Bouquets to get them to either resend the two dozen yellow roses to my mother and not someone else or refund my total purchase including tax and shipping. Really disappointed in all three companies.
I love this little tool. The grasses get stringy and tough the later in the season it gets, so having these to cut through those stringy strands has been a blessing. I'm not impressed with all the 'safety features' though. IMHO, those extra feature simply make the tool less ergonomic. I find that having to push a safety button with your thumb while simultaneously pulling the 'go' trigger is very fatiguing. Yes, you can eventually let go of the first button, but you still have to hover because you aren't running the tool non-stop (at least I don't). This product won out over the other because of the re-charger: uses a regular outlet to re-charge. And the battery charge is still going strong long after my hands give out. Update August 2025: it was fun while it lasted, but the tool has totally failed. The battery is fully charged, but the motor no longer works. For the price, a year of functionality isn't bad.

The short saw is great and can do the job but not the 6 inch saw. It's get stuck ed at all times and stop working. I was going to return it but I love the short one does everything for me.

First of all, this trimmer is WAY BETTER than I expected!!! It did the job plus some. I’m not a professional trimmer. It’s been a few years since my hedges had been trimmed so now there at the stage where they needed to be cut. Because of neglect, they are slowly dying. These trimmers and cuttings shears did the trick! I was able to get some form of shape back to my hedges. Let me say this, I’m vertically challenged so getting to the very top of the hedges were/is difficult BUT because the trimmers worked so good, I was still able to pull it off and nearly round everything out. I’m VERY HAPPY with this purchase. I’ve cleaned them with a slightly damp cloth and sprayed the blade down with 10W40 oil and placed the trimmers back in the box it came in. I didn’t take a before picture of all of the hedges BUT I did of the last one. But it, you won’t regret it. It’s very lightweight and very easy to use.

I purchased June 13, 2024 and we really liked it - spring has come and i cant get it to work and have charged 2 times thinking it is dead - light comes on but it goes nothing - it was only $29 so not sure if i recommend or not - 1 year product i guess

If you need a simple trimmer this is the one for you. I live in a 10 unit trailer park and when the land lord said he would cut the grass he did and that was it. I had 2 foot high weeds and grasses anywhere his riding mower would not reach. I started with the large trimmer which worked fine. When I changed to the smaller one out of curiosity, I have not switched back yet. the smaller one does less area but cuts like butter in one pass. THe larger one needs to be moved back and forth but they claim it is for hedges which I do not have. I will cut for a half hour and the next week there is still enough battery left to complete the job.

On July 15, 2022 I purchased the "SHALL Cordless Grass Shear & Hedge Trimmer - 7.2V Electric Shrub Trimmer 2 in 1 Handheld Grass Trimmer Hedge Shears, Hedge Clippers Grass Cutter w/ Pruning Scissor, Rechargeable Battery & Fast Charger" with hopes of trimming our patchy grass along our pool fence line. (It's not solid grass...we never planted grass after we put in the pool, knowing we were putting in a fence with rocks under it.) This product looked great! When I got it, I fully charged it. The first time I used it, I thought I may be able to use the hedge trimmer attachment to cut the grass quicker, however, it didn't even cut anything. I figured maybe the blades are spaced a little bit further apart because it's meant for thicker brush and the grass was too thin. I switched back the the actual grass shears attachment. It was wonderful at first! It cut through the grass like butter! So easy and fun! Then, as I made my way along the fence line, maybe down about 10-15 ft, (about 15 min or so of use) it started to get harder and harder to cut through the grass. I found I had to start pushing harder and harder to get through the patches. The blades started gnawing through it...not cutting nice and clean as it had at the beginning. I recharged it. Unfortunately this didn't change its performance. It just gnawed through the grass again, and made comb marks in the grass, cutting about half of it. I was very disappointed and reached out to the seller through Amazon, who responded quickly. They stated they didn't fully understand the problems I was having, especially when I said the trimmer blades seem to now "gnaw the grass instead of cut it." They requested I send them videos explaining my problems and gave me an attachment/picture of a separate email address I can use, saying they couldn't provide it in the Amazon message center, because they don't support personal email addresses and it also doesn't support video attachments. I made many different videos showing them, and explaining, the problems. I tried sending them to the address provided, but I kept getting error messages. I sent them another message through Amazon explaining the difficulty I was having sending them an email to the address they provided. Again, they tried to give me the address, which I think FINALLY worked...not really sure...only thing I know, is that I didn't get an error message after I sent it. I have not received any response since, through Amazon or email. I thought I could get the problem resolved, but finally got fed up and will be returning it. I told the seller I was going to write a review explaining my problems with this product, to inform people of my problems. I have never had a problem with blades getting so dull, to where they don't even cut anymore, on a NEW trimmer!
