Like the multi-tools capabilities. Easy to assemble, startup. Ran into issue after 1hr use of trimmer head malfunction. Noticed other attachments weren't working as well. I discovered the metal shaft drive had broken near the engine. Contacted product support via eMail. Within 24hrs they replied and priority shipped me a new replacement engine shaft. It runs well but the one of the plastic parts broke quickly and instructions are challenging to novice yard workers. After less than 30 minutes, the string trimmer outer container attachment broke and is no longer usable, but a replacement was sent quickly and at no charge by the seller. Pole saw seems to work well and can cut 6-8 inch branches pretty handily, but I am having troubles keeping the chain tight. This is a heavy duty unit and a pretty heavy unit, but the pole saw can easily work on branches 14-16 feet above the ground; while the harness is very comfortable and supportive, I would not recommend this for extremely light work, but it is great around our small farm. ... show more

With only 15 minutes of weed eating run time and a quick test of the rest, dismiss the 5 star except for a quality feel..... 2 hours later of doing battle with a grab happy 3 year old, I got it assembled. Do a quick once over to check EVERYTHING is tight. If you've tinkered with lawn equipment before, you can get it together, but I'd suggest YouTube (it's generic all brand X that looks the same is the same) for assembly. It feels decent for what it is and seemed to have plenty enough power to make things interesting with all the attachments. If I don't update this, it's well worth the money for what you get. It's a 52cc do it all... so expect the weight and bulk of it, because it's a heavy beast.. Also make sure that you fully connect the attachments and double check that. It's a tad tricky, but nothing you can't get used to.I'll be using it commercially for land clearing jobs, and I do put all my equipment to the test, so if there's no update saying it's junk..... you should probably buy it. 😂 UPDATED 20+ hours of tortur... um.. use for my brush clearing business... yeah well worth it if you can handle it. Broke the guard on the pole saw, super customer service (2 better that I deal with but I deal with them regularly) and super fast parts replacement. Be mindful that it's cheap plastic and they do cut costs on stuff, so don't slam it into things. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE ON OFF BUTTON.... you'll learn yourself to avoid turning it off when using it. It's a little cold natured when starting, but once it fires up... it's a beast with plenty of power. Thought I never used the string head, I'd say invest in a better one right off... then again I do that with name brand ones as well. ... show more

Would love to say PROs and CONs but this item is for the most part, CON. Was hoping to get a multi-tool with good quality. Attached the pole saw and it worked okay for about 5 minutes... chain off. Again. Again. Then attached the hedge trimmer which is really what I wanted to work well. It will not cut at all. I have house scissors that do a better job. I have a cheapo electric that I can cut all of the front bushes at the house within 5 minutes, no exaggeration this hedge trimmer wouldn't do the same job in an hour. It's like hand sawing with a butter knife. Other issues. The safety shutoff is so cheaply made that it will vibrate to the kill position by itself. The motor is a beast. It takes a while to get started but once it does it runs good. The weight is almost prohibitive. Unless you are 6'2" and going to the gym 3x per week, you will have issues with fatigue. The real deal is it really doesn't matter if it has a good motor, the attachments are real junk and do not cut which makes it unusable. We live on small farm and needed a pole saw as well as brush cutter all the time. I have an old echo that is best trimmer I’ve ever own.But having extra trimmer is great bonus and hedge trimmers, Well that’s just to make my wife happy.So Bought the 5 n 1 Maxtra set.Grease up attachment grease fittings and everything runs works great.Jenna at customer service is fantastic. I was missing a part and she responded fast and made sure was exact part I needed and sent it out right away. The shaft on pole saw broke while cutting a limb. Jenna took care of that also sent out replacement right away. The company stands behind product and I really appreciate their customer service. Something that is very rare these days. It’s tough job when people aren’t usually happy or nice dealing with customer service but I can’t say enough about how great Jenna was. I hope she is appreciated there. ... show more

    • Don’t buy if you need skill adapting your own parts to fix.
The pull start mechanism is poorly designed. Broke by twentieth time starting tool. Had to go with drill adapter to start on back nut. Hold down but handle stripped . Had to replace with metal one. All in all way too much money for poorly built equipment.
