I’ve used the polisher only a few times and already I’m Unable to turn on the polisher, the slide switch is almost impossible to slide to the on position.

This is definitely not for the faint of heart as it is powerful and pretty loud (I recommend wearing ear protection during use). It reminds me a lot of my side-grinder tool. I was reluctant to use this on my wife's sport car paint without some practice and even then opted not to risk making a mistake that would be talked about for years to come. I opted instead, to start out by using it to remove the concrete splatter the paver company haphazardly sprayed on the side of the galvanized water heater cabinet on my patio. I had done one wall of this by hand-scrubbing and it was more work than it was worth for my tired old elbows. This thing zipped it off in no time. It did take some getting used to but after I got the hang of handling it I felt comfortable trying it out on the hood of my old faded jeep hood. The hood clear-coat was a lost-cause prior to polishing but I was pleased with the overall result. Somebody familiar with handling buffer polishers likely won't have any issues but for a newby like me, I'm glad I practiced on something more forgiving before moving onto a vehicle. It is built to last.

Overall, I'm really happy with this DA buffer for the price. It's solid, and performs well... it does exactly what I expected it to, and for a reasonable price. It comes with a decent amount of pads to get you going, and overall I have no complaints about the performance of this buffer. So far, I've used it on two vehicles and it hasn't failed me yet... so in that respect, it's already paid for itself... detail work isn't cheap. I'm not a professional auto-detailer, so I'm sure there are probably nicer buffers out there (for significantly more $), but for the DIY car guy, it's a great buy and I'd definitely recommend it.

Great inexpensive polisher. The included kit has everything you need except polish and buffing compounds. Variable speeds are great and truly noticeable. Perfect for making sure you don't "burn through" paint or clearcoat. Easy to use, but I would recommend a good extension cord. My only complaint is the power cord is shorter than I'd like.

A good dual-action paint polisher kit to get you going. The balance of the tool is good, and the speed adjustment is out of the way, so as not to accidentally change it. You can easily find additional pads online, to expand the contents of your kit. This polisher tool saves you tons of elbow grease when trying to keep your vehicles shined up. The dual action motion is nice for preventing burnishing of the paint, which makes this a safer tool to use, especially for rookies. I am very satisfied with the quality of the tool and accessories. I will be buying some additional pads and cleaning supplies to go with. I hope you found my review helpful, thanks!
