I live near a marina and have been dealing with mildew for some time. It was getting expensive and a hassle replace closet bags every week. The goldenrod (used on boats) didn’t seem to work well. This dehumidier colleced about half an inch of water within the first hour! Now that I’ve had it for a month, I’m very happy with this investiment. In fact, I ended up ordering a total of 3 units (2 in bedrooms, 1 in the main living area). It takes about a week for each of the tanks to fill and they are very easy to empty. My place finally feels dry and no more mildew odor! Things to note: - They are not silent. For me, it is like white noise in the background or the sound of a fan. - "Sleep mode” is a little quieter. - An LED light makes the tank look really nice and makes a good night light. You can also have the light off it is running. - A drainage tube is included. My personal preference is to pour the water out of the tank every week, but this it’s an option. - It turns off automatically when the tank is full. I tested this and can confirm. - There is a small tray at the top where you can add a few drops of essential oil. - There has been no leakage even though I am running these continuously. I have one sitting on a carpeted floor, another on a hardwood floor, and the third on a table. First picture: back of unit with the tank pulled out. The white lid is leaning on it’s side against the tank. Second picture: about to empty the tank. It is about 2/3 full here.

Works well. Empty out a full tank every 2 weeks or so in the bathroom where the circulation is low. Very satisfying to see it draw out so much moisture!

Do not recommend buying this dehumidifier, it does not work well. It collected about a drop of water within 3 weeks. I'm returning it and purchased a different one, same size, and that one has collected about 8oz/1 cup of water within 3 days! Crazy difference, and the other one was the dame exact price, so not like I bought a mor expensive brand or anything. This is pretty useless, so I do not recommend at all.

Recently purchased this dehumidifier and I’m really happy with it so far. My apartment is in an older building and doesn’t have the best ventilation (especially in the bathroom) and after just a couple of showers and running this thing, I noticed a real difference. The air feels less damp, no more fogged-up mirror, and it’s just way more comfortable overall. The dehumidifier itself looks great - sleek, modern, and super lightweight, so it’s easy to move around. The LED light inside is a nice touch too, with rotating colors that make it feel a bit more high-end. It’s really quiet in normal mode, and even quieter on night mode. The water tank is a good size and super easy to empty. If you’re after an affordable dehumidifier that actually works, this one’s definitely worth adding to your cart!
