I use these to build exhausts (hold tubing in place in jigs) and they work great. I have some Mac Tools of these and these are actually slightly nicer. Time will tell on durability but this far, well worth it

These work as intended. Each plier has an individual plastic sleeve which stuck to the head of the plier with an oily sticky substance. Like head of each plier head was dipped in greasy honey. I cleaned with GooGone and then Dawn. Most difficult part of cleaning was the teeth, where my cleaner created gooey buggers in the teeth, almost needed a tooth brush.
