Download 50 additional free designs from the Artspira App. Some of the designs include beautiful scrollwork, floral, and quilt patterns—plus 10 frame shapes and 14 stitch patterns. The Brother PE900 embroidery machine has been engineered with additional design editing features. This provides flexibility to rotate, mirror image, increase and decrease the size of your designs, and see how your edited designs look right on the color LCD touch display before stitching. The PE900 is easy to use and easy to thread - simply follow the numbered threading diagram printed on the machine. An automatic needle threader saves time and reduces stress by pushing the thread right through the eye of the needle. The media could not be loaded. Honestly I love this machine! It has been so much fun to design and work on projects. The machine is easy to use the brother has so many instruction videos on how to use it. If you want to embroider on hats and things with lots of colors I would say get a different machine but you can use this for multiple colors. You just have to change them out yourself. ... show more

Just ordered the Brother PE900. It arrived yesterday but already returned it today for a full refund. It arrived quickly with no damage. It was packaged well from the factory. I already own 4 Brother sewing machines, as well as a PE 535 and a Brother 550 D embroidery machine. All my previous. Brother purchases have been quality machines that give me excellent service. My oldest machine is nearly 15 years old and still runs as good as the day I purchased it. However quality control is slipping. My brand new Brother PE900 was defective and completely inoperable. First the needle threader did not work. So I hand thread the needle. Placed my project(a simple kitchen towel) in the hoop and started my design. Within 3 or 4 stitches the machine jammed and pulled the fabric into the throat plate, tearing a quarter inch hole in my fabric. Then the carriage made a violent fish tail motion. Then the motor made a very loud clunking sound and it was all over. I JUST PURCHASED A $1200 LEMON!!! I was so very dissapoibted in Brother. A machine with even one defect should never leave the factory let alone a machine with multiple issues!!! I am very angry and frustrated to be put thru this anguish and needless inconvenience of a return, a refund and finally a second inconvenience of ordering and then waiting once again for a second machine!!!But inspite of all that, I still say Amazon and Brother are good companies. It was my bad luck to receive a defective product. I love the Brother PE900. I have waited years and years to afford to step up and own such a fine machine. SO once again I will patiently wait fir the eventual arrival of a new machine with no defects. ... show more

    • Make sure you are near a repair shop

After two weeks of use, had to take to repair shop because felt comes loose and causes a huge birdsnest. Then thread cutter doesn't work anymore. Closest repair shop to me is 180 miles and brother would not approve an alternate shop so I had to pay out of pocket for the repair.
