Description

As an electrician or general contractor, there are more than enough tools out there that you need in your kit. Simplify the process by purchasing some multi tools that can perform multiple functions. When it comes to wire stripping, the Milwaukee 48-22-3079 is more than enough. Use its onboard template to strip most standard sized bare or stranded wires. When they’re stripped, use the center console to plug those wires in and form perfect loops to attach to grounding screws or other areas. You’re not limited to electrical wire work with this, either. If you need to shorten screws or bolts, you can fit them into the other side of the center console to cut them down to size. You can even use the forged tip of this tool to ream out piping between one half and one inch in width. Alternatively, you can use that same tip to punch out outlet boxes. It’s sturdy enough to handle hundreds on the jobsite, while lightweight enough so you can do it in relative comfort. Why have six separate tools on hand when you can keep one that does the job better? With Milwaukee, you can achieve heightened productivity. From the Manufacturer Milwaukee Electric Tool introduces the new 6 IN 1 Combination Pliers. The Milwaukee 6 in 1 Combination Pliers features a revolutionary dual head design for wire stripping and needle nose functionality. • Nice quality and versatile
Nice quality and versatile. But the wire gauge markings are very small and difficult to read. I end up guesstimating based on the size of the wire vs. the stripper cutout on the tool.

  • Works exactly as intended
Works exactly how you would expect. I really like the clasp to keep it locked closed. Great set of pliers.

  • Good price and material
I really like this type of tweezer, I have not used it yet but it looks very good, there is no defect in it, I hope it meets my expectations.

  • Great Tool, but a Little Overpiced
As with the majority of Milwaukee tools, this is a high quality tool. I purchased mine on Home Depot as my order through Amazon got delayed, lost and then I canceled the order (thanks to Amazon using USPS). The latch is made of metal, so unlike previous raters of this product, the chances of the latch breaking is small. Also, unlike other raters the plastic covers on the handles did NOT fall off. However, if it did I would just use some silicone or super glue to glue them in place. The wire cutters does great to cut not just wire, but also many other items such as rope and cloth tape. If there's only one gripe, it's that this tool costs $25. I know it's a multi-tool, but I'm essentially paying $25 for a glorified pair of needle nose pliers. I bought this to complement my tools and to lighten my tool bag, but I think that $25 is a bit pricey. Overall a good product and maybe I would purchase this again if it went on sale or the price went down. ... show more

  • nearly perfect tool
I am an electrician and had an ad for these sent to me from an electrician's tool supplier for $50. I wouldn't have purchased them at that price but thankfully Amazon had them for $28. The build is very nice and ergonomic as well as sturdy. A bit on the heavy side when compared to the other wire strippers normally used. Excellent needle nose capability and strips wire with ease. There is only one problem I have found and that is when the wire you wish to cut is is too low on the blade (closest to the handle) the cutters won't cut it. Maybe just my pair is like this but I thought I'd mention it. Otherwise this is a perfect needle nose- wire stripper combination that I use on a daily basis and only have the other strippers as backup. ... show more
