  • Best Grip Pliers Out There!
Size: 6 inches
I love Knipex Cobra Pliers. They bite down and hold tight. The adjustable width makes it easy to find just the right size you need for maximum grip. They are very sturdy and versatile, but keep in mind, they will cause "bite marks" on what ever you are grabbing with you pliers. Sometimes, you just need a nut off and don't care about the looks of it afterwords. As long as it is off, mission accomplished! As you can see in my photo, I like these so much, I have several of them in different sizes. Try them once and they will become you go to pliers. ... show more

  • what have i been using all my life that call themselves "tools"?????!?!??!?!
Size: 6 inches
it's been a long time comin ive had my eye on these for years but idk why i just never pulled the trigger. but in my job ive had to work more and more w plumbing n pipes and other situations where i needed a wrench to pry things open/loose.. i would use the old style tongue and groove pliers but haaaatteee the way u adjusted them: making them do the splits just to open it up like a quarter inch.... thas straight not dope ya know??? lol but i was doing some xmas shopping for the fam when i came across these as well as some other Knipex tools for sale at prices i couldn't pass up,... and boyyyy lemme tells ya, IM MAD AT MYSELF FOR MAKING ME WAIT THIISSS LONGGG TO EXPERIENCE KNIPEX AND WHAT A HAND TOOL REALLY IS!! my lord the teeth on these raptors are actually raptor razor sharp, they grab onto just about anything at the slightest bite. the size i ordered too are perfect for what i need them for and the feel of them are superb. they fit in the hand so naturally it makes squeezing them to get a good grab near effortless. and the compact size makes these the able to get into all of the most awkward and small tight spots i encounter w ease. and the build quality on these is just flat out perfect. i never thought i could see a tool that functions at a level these do, as well as have the looks and style to match. these are like (just like another high point for german engineers) a sleek sports car fresh on center platform at debut. i mean ive never had a set specific cleanup kit for a single tool in my life before, (usually prefer the opposite n to let em wear their grit n grime), but here we are as i keep a fresh mini wipe to use to get any shmutz off after use. and im not embarrassed to say that in the least lol. if there's any Knipex hand tool put there you've always wanted, but felt u couldn't justify the higher cost for it; do yourself a favor and stop wasting precious time that you could have spent raving about these amazing tools. youll be so mad at yourself for waiting so long once you hold them in your hands lol. (this purchase was my first ever for Knipex, and i got 3 items this time and each one is the best version of that particular tool ive ever seen/used. some are even better than multiple tools at easch of their different types of tools lol.) and just so its clear, its pronounced:: 'KUH-nip-EX'• not 'NIPP-ex'• or 'nigh-PEX'• ... show more

  • Comparing Knipex 4, 5 and workpro 4
Size: 5 inches
This is going to be a 3 in 1 review between KNIPEX 4 (K 4"), KNIPEX 5 (K 5") and the Wrkpro 4. (W 4") All are great little EDC carry pliers. Both the KNIPEX feel like they have higher grade steel for sure. The Workpro steel is not as high grade steel in my opinion but the things are very impressive for the money. It is actually a no brainer to get this one cause of the price and design. I like that it has a lanyard hole in the handle. Unfortunately the steel quality is not as strong and has little more play and not as high machining tolerances. If a professional or using it everyday or going on a motorcycle trip cross country the 5 inch Knipex are a real capable tool. Just yesterday I was working on a small engine repair and the K 5" was my go to. It was good pulling springs into place, turning losen bolts, nut even pulling spark plug cap. Very handy and comfortable just a little litterly an inch if that bigger. If you had to crank down on a 17mm you might be able to do this with the K 5" were the other smaller 4 " could not. Just remember when you are cranking on a bolt and your pliers fail or lose grip where is your hand going to be. Not fun racking your knuckles with a small little wrench. The practicality of you runing into having to tighten a big bolt with no other wrenches around will justify carrying the K 5 or K4 that are much easier to carry. The KNIPEX 4 (K 4") and WRKPRO4 ( W 4") are 2 great little pliers. THe K 4" is probably bettter for more meticulous jobs. If you want a more precision tool, demand better steal and dont mind paying double the price the Knipex are the way to go. The Knipex 4" also It doesnt snag like the Workpro that has a blue adjustment button on the side (same style as K 5") ALSO NOTE return on Knipex Pliers. You CANNOT drop off at whole foods or UPS store. You have to pack in a Box and either ship or take to an AMAZON distribution center way across town. With the Workpro 4 inch you can just drop off at Whole foods. Over all if you really dont need a professional grade , everyday tool - The WorkPro 4 inch is the way to go hands down. the lanyard hole, size, price and convenience. ... show more

  • Durable, quality, great design
Size: 16 inches
After I modified them and softened the edges, they feel so good in the hand, and the teeth profile is perfect will grab anything!, they fit in my bag nicely. They also fit where I need them to fit with the adjust profile. Also the size is perfect for its capacity. What a nice set and investment

  • Good EDC size
Size: 5 inches
Drops in to the left tool pocket of my work dungarees without being too long and sticking out to catch on anything or being too short to retrieve from the pocket easily. Opens far enough to get on a 1" bolt head or grip anything tubular up to 1" outer diameter. Smart design that only requires pressure on the back handle to retain its grip on whatever you're working on. There's one size smaller than this, but I found it to be just a little too small to be very useful. I also own the 5 inch Knipex Pliers Wrench. I carry this and the pliers wrench at work because I connect and disconnect hydraulic lines fairly regularly and need two pliers to do it. But, just for around the house or other places I might go when not at work, I just carry this one. It's a pretty good general tool that can do anything from tighten a garden hose connector to tear out that pop can lid that didn't open right. ... show more

  • Grips Like an Alligator (And Doesn’t Let Go)
Size: 12 inches
These things grip like an absolute alligator. Once they bite down, whatever you’re holding is not going anywhere. I used them to swap out an anode rod in a water heater, a job where my big channel locks just weren’t cutting it. These, on the other hand, had zero issues. Solid grip, no slipping, no rounding things off, no frustration. They adjust easily, feel incredibly solid, and just work the way you wish all tools would. A bit pricey, sure. But after using them once on a stubborn job like that, it’s pretty clear they’re worth every penny. ... show more

Size: 4 inches
Incredibly handy and part of my EDC. When I first saw them, I thought they were a toy. But they have more than paid for themselves. So much so, that this is my second pair. I misplaced my original pair and immediately ordered this second pair. Thankfully it turned out that my original fell between the seat and console of my truck. They stay as my EDC. This second pair has a home in my truck console just in case... ... show more
