This tool cut my 6 mil luxury vinyl planks like butter! I used it to cut the width (9 inches) rather than making rip cuts. I used a table saw for the rip cuts. This tool made my project go by so smoothly and quickly. It was very easy to push the lever down. I did not have to apply any force at all. This tool is very sturdy and durable for the price. It was the perfect size for the cuts that I needed to make. I never had to sharpen the blade, however I only installed just over 600 sq ft.
