Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought two of the berber blankets. I've not had a blanket quite like the two. In fact I sleep between them and their light weight and mild thermal payback. They are both the same fluffy, soft, light, warm enough blankets. They don't slide around a lot and I like the feel of these blankets. Over time the loft of the fiber tends to flatten some but they have lasted through multiple washings. I believe I've gotten my money out of them. I like them and would recommend them. ... show more

So soft and warm. Perfect on top of a bed or as a throw in the winter. It's gone through a few washes and still looks great. No shedding. Be prepared to take a nap if you are using them on a couch or chair - you'll get so warm and cozy, it'll be hard not to fall asleep!

Extremely soft and cozy! Large and beautiful. It is too hot to sleep under in SC on most nights, but we snuggle and then turn it back. It looks beautiful across the bottom of the bed when made. Cold winters it would be perfect!! Excellent quality! Love it!

I live in a 4 season state. We require different bedding for the warm and cold months. This blanket was an absolute hit with my kids and my husband. It’s so cozy and soft. The texture of it is more wool like (think inside of uggs) vs other Sherpa style blankets that are more synthetic feeling. I bought 3 of them, one in white, one in gray, one in navy. The downside is that they do NOT last and honestly I expected that. I’ve never had a Sherpa type blanket not become a matted mess or fuse into clumps especially after washing (and I wash exactly according to washing method described on label) The white one was used on a bed and turned dingy in color quickly and was the first to mat down. And it matted SIGNIFICANTLY. It wore down before the first wash! So its life was about 3 months for human use. It’s been retired to the dog’s bed. The gray one was also used on a bed and has been washed three times, it did not mat down like the white one did. It’s still acceptable in texture and cozy. It lasted the winter season and It will make it into the linen closet for next winter. But I don’t expect it to make it through next season. The blue one, which we use in the living room, has been washed 4 or 5 times, surprisingly the texture only changed slightly but it did NOT mat down! however- it has picked up feathers from our couch and random other debris. They are impossible to get out of the Sherpa. It’s been 6 months, we’re still happily using it. Other blankets of the same price or cheaper have lasted us years but The JOY we had of cuddling up to this blanket was worth it despite its short lifespan. ... show more

I love the softness and warmth on top of my also Woolrich Electric blanket. I bought the ivory or beige color and I keep it on top of the electric blanket to retain the heat instead of it dissipating into the cold air as I keep my bedroom cool at night and turn up the electric blanket. Santa thought I loved it so much he got me a medium blue color as well. It is still sealed as I can't use them both at once. It's always nice to have a backup, though.
