    • Extends table for easier work
I had always thought shaper tables were a bit small especially given they are well suited to having a power feeder added to the machine. This definitely adds the extra space on the table to make in feeding and out feeding of the material work well. The extension table is a bit quirky to install and not that bad once you get a few bolts started. Get them all started then start flushing it to the shaper table. Just keep snugging and checking level and it seems to go fairly well. It is made out of mostly wood composite materials and not metal as one might expect. It does make for a bigger footprint. Update: After a few days I was thinking maybe it is a little too big? No not really after running longer pieces through it is nice to have the larger table surface. After about three weeks I added a power feeder and it is very nice to have the table. It makes feeding material so much easier. Now the fence could be longer and that is not the fault of the table but rather a problem easily solved with a longer fence. Maybe Shop Fox could offer a longer fence to go with the table? Maybe not. But what would be helpful is a bracket to extend the Fwd/Off/Rev switch out about four inches or so to make access a little more convenient, its on my to do list.
