understand electricity and loads, amps, watts etc. This is not an extension cord for space heaters. Keep within the limits of the cord or do not buy this cord. Also this is not designed to be plugging and unplugging repeatedly into whatever or having things plugged into it repeatedly. My purpose for this is at a hotel we go to in Mexico. The tv is down in the step down living room about 13 ft away from the bed and the luggage bench is in front of the bed. So I move the dresser and tv from the step down living room and move it in front of the bed for our stay. And the only plug in is where they originally put the tv so I need an extension cord.
