Theheavy cast iron body swivels a full 360 degrees and adjustable swiveling jaws adapt to most shapes and can be locked in position for a secure grip. Thesejaws pivot and conform to odd shapes andnon-parallel workpieces. This allows flexibility in holding irregular shaped workpieces such as sculpture work and other carved objects. The pattern maker's vise attaches to your work surface using 5/8" threaded rod and alarge cast ironwing nut. This designis easy to set up and remove and supports use with tops and benches up to 4-1/2" thick. This versatile heavy duty vise has a place in anyworkshop.
