    • Worked for our new hens
We placed these eggs into the nesting boxes so our new hens would lay eggs in the boxes rather than elsewhere. Once they started laying eggs, they were laying them next to the fake ones. They are also easy to clean with a little soap and water. I bought these because my hens were all laying eggs in the same nest. My daddy told me the way to train them was to place a fake egg in the other nests. I didn't really believe this, so I only placed these eggs in the nest they were already laying in and one other nest. As sure as the sun shines, four days later the chicken were laying in both nests. To my amazement, within only a few days of putting these in my hens’ nesting boxes, they started laying eggs. The two brown eggs pictured are the fake eggs. Once my hens that lay brown eggs start laying it will be very hard to tell the difference from real vs the fake eggs! These are very good quality made and even feel real.
