  • Good for the price
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
I purchased this one because it had decent reviews and looked pretty cute. We were downsizing from 22 chickens and moving just two into the city so I needed something that wouldn’t freak the neighbors out. It went together in about an hour, all the parts were there and the directions were fine. It looks good and is decently sturdy, we were used to a large substantial coop so it’s taken a little getting used to. There were some unavoidable gaps between some areas like the door and tray and floor to the nesting box so I was afraid it would get wet or cold. But so far it’s stayed dry and when I open it in the winter morning it feels snug and warm. We have two small chickens and they’re fine. I do think small breeds only, you could probably fit 4 bantams 2 regulars without adding additional run space. The coop is large enough for more but the run is too small. We let them out a few hours a day so it’s fine. ... show more

  • Very cute but very small
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
Very cute but very tiny. Would not recommend for more than two chickens but who has only two chickens? Some pieces arrived broken and we needed to use wood glue to repair the parts before we could assemble them. Not very sturdy, wood wants to split when screwing it together so we had to drill pilot holes to avoid that. A fox could easily dig its way in without some reinforcement so we used a staple gun to attach chicken wire to the bottom of the coop. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, picture is accurate
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
Ours arrived quickly and it looks just like the picture! The chickens had been living in a box for the summer-and for anyone concerned just know we tried to give them better shelter but they always chose the box… anyways. We took out all other options when we set this up and connected it to their run, and they immediately loved it! When it rains they huddle underneath and are dry, and they immediately figured out to lay their eggs inside -although they don’t always lay where the nesting section is, they often lay in the main “room” of the coop. But there’s a big door there so we can access it easily. It’s not the highest quality, we wired it to the run so it doesn’t move but other than that it’s awesome. The chickens agree. ... show more

  • Ok for very small birds
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
This worked well for our three chicks/pullets until they were ready to join the flock. It is not a proper chicken coop for adult chickens, as it is too small. We added a run to it because the outdoor area is tiny, even for the pullets. It might work for quail. Wood is light weight as expected for the price, keeps your birds in, not sure if it would stop determined predators. It has stayed dry inside. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
This “outdoor chicken coop” is a complete waste of money. I have only had these for approximately three months. While assembling it for the “dual” functionality, it does not come with anything to join them. So, I hope you have some ingenuity up your sleeve. This is also NOT FOR HOT CLIMATES!! The plastic that sits under the roost bar has warped like it was kissed by hells flames. What a pain in the a@@ it is to get it in and out to clean. We also had to add ventilation holes into the cute plastic window as it only comes with two one inch holes in the back. In general, cleaning this thing is a back breaker. You can’t get anything out of the nesting boxes what-so-ever. Also, this thing is not meant for outside. It is not treated and the gray stain on it comes off when you used a standard scrub brush and Dawn dish soap. The wood on ANY corner splinters off. Today while doing my WEEKLY cleaning, I noticed that mold is growing under the asphalt nesting roof. Now I have to rip the plastic off the roosting pan to replace it along with buying new shingles to add to the roof on something that already cost a nice penny. I wish I had invested my money into something else. I would give this a zero if I could. ... show more

  • Decent coop
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
This coop was exactly what I expected; easy to assemble and cute. Couple of pieces were marked incorrectly, not a big deal. It took me about one hour to assemble. It’s small, no more than 2 chickens can fit in comfortably. I painted inside and out with a wood sealer, also I placed it on the top of a chicken wires and concrete blocks. I also used some plastic cable ties to firmly secure the bottom panels together. I just ordered on other one and I will be connecting both of them together. Overall this is a nice coop to house 2 chickens. Update: I ordered another coop and connected both together. I love the look! Right now I have two chickens and I’m planning to get two more. Really happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Nice but small
Pattern Name: Chicken Coop
Super cute and easy to instal. Need mini chicken in it. Standard size won’t fit. We bought it for 3 teenage hens but it was too small. They have to band to fit under the house and are on top of each other for food and water.
