The media could not be loaded. I originally purchased for my husband for his woodworking shop. We live in the south with high humidity and sometimes it takes lingering for wood materials to dry out for use or paint. It works great! The lcd screen is large and bright, easy to read. It operates on a battery but we have been using daily and still has charge. One thing I wasn’t expecting because I had purchased for his woodworking to detect humidity and moisture levels for his for his projects. But we found it has come in handy for checking our firewood! Unexpected perk to using!

The size of this meter is easy to handle and the key function is easy to use/quickly understand. The display is clear and a nice size. Registers the humidity quickly. The protector cap for the moisture pens are nice and seem of higher quality than others.

We purchased this to ensure our firewood is adequately dry. Our stove has a catalyst and it’s essential to have wood below 2% moisture content to prevent excessive clogging.It’s also nice to have the calibration check feature built right unit he cap, lets you know if it’s within range. Easy to use, I prefer the “pin” method, but the “pinless” seems to work, just need to get used to the variance. The user guide has examples for the wood density settings, which is very helpful. The photos I included are for Black Walnut with a 3 density. The pin and pinless measurements were close. I am overall very satisfied, would recommend!
