This was easy to assemble, even for this 78yr old man :-). It's comfortable and glad I purchased it. My wife needs supervision at night, so I decided to add this futon to her bedroom. It arrived 2 days early! Which worked out very well as we have guests staying the day it was originally meant to arrive! It is super easy to build, it maybe took my husband and I 10 minutes or so to put it together. It's decently comfy as a couch on its own but I would probably buy a mattress pad to put on it if you were going to sleep on it. And it looks to be about the size of a twin size mattress when fully laid out as a bed which is perfect for the smaller space we have. Overall, definitely worth the purchase. ... show more

The plusses are the sofa doesn't take up much space and is easy to assemble. The minuses are it is not well cushioned and it is definitely not 71 inches wide. It is 69 inches if I press down on the cushions. That is disappointing because I needed the width for friends who may sleep on it.

This futon is super cute, great for small spaces, and sooo easy to put together. It took me longer to get it out of the package, than to assemble. Great quality, all of the folding functions work well. Much better than the old style futons, and looks way better too. I got this mainly for a guest bed in a small area and it is extremely hard I had to get 2 mattress pads to use for sleeping. Otherwise as a couch it’s perfect and it was small enough to fit in the space I need it for.

We retuned this the next day after it arrived, it is way too hard and def not comfortable to sit on. The back of the couch ends in the middle of your back and I'm only 5'4" - not sure where it would end up on anyone taller.
