I just opened the box today. Putting it together now. I like material, actual wood,,,,, seems to be going together well. BUT the instructions are just pictures ! I've done better looking at the pics on Amazon. Will update when finished. UPDATE, it was finished today I love the style, seems to be sturdy. No box spring needed, but I did put a piece of plywood on slats, under mattress, for my own peace of mind. We will see how it does tonite. As I stated before the instructions could be more than just diagrams, and don't try to assemble without help. ... show more

Hard to put together. Instructions were only pictures. One of the boards didn’t have a hole drilled. Missing a screw. A trip to Home Depot. Looks nice and sturdy after 4 hour assembly.

The middle support beam each side Is horrible placement I have almost broken my toe multiple times, making the bed most beds. Don’t have a support being there, so you bash your toe into it when you make the bed I would never purchase this item again.

These things look like they were dipped in orange paint. Couldn’t return bc boxes were sopping wet when received bc of Amazon dropping them outside and then I’ve spent hours sanding them down and then the headboards are particle board. Wish we could have returned. Super disappointed.

The bed frame is solid. No movement squeaks, wiggles or wobbles! Love it. The only disappointment is the headboard is very low. The picture is deceiving because they show it with a 2” mattress so it looks like a higher headboard. Put a 12” mattress on and the headboard can be barely seen.
