This was perfect for the Colorado cold. Never had a problem being cold. I only had to use two layers, just with my thermal top and it was enough. I didn't have to use my fleece light Jacket. My favorite feature was the side pocket on my chest for my phone. It fit perfect and love that it had a zipper for security. It was a great price for my budget. I was able to find black that was either too expensive or sold out in my size. I ordered a large. It had just enough room for my thermal and bib. But still had enough loose room for comfort. The quality was great and not too heavy. I look so cool and matched my white bib pants. It was perfect for the snow and ice. I only had to use the hood once when it was windy. it protected my head ears from the cold.

I absolutely love this ski jacket. It's the perfect weight, non-restrictive, and has two big pockets for your hands,as well as a upper chest pocket and a inside pocket. The look is a cross between rugged and classic, a perfect mix. It was delivered two days ago, just in time for this crazy cold front in Pennsylvania. The snow just slid of instead of sticking. Definitely kept me dry and warm. The test was the early morning walk with my Belgian Malinios. My legs were very cold but my bright orange MOERDENG coat kept me so warm and visible. It functions well for any outdoor activities. Also, it's not bulky so driving or passenger you'll stay comfortable. The hood does NOT run small and the coat does not run big it's the style, it isn't meant to be form fitting. For reference I'm 5'3" 150 lbs I ordered a Large (photos wouldn't load)

Great jacket! Nice and warm. Fur lined but not in sleeves. Sleeves are still thick for warmth. Roomy enough for layers. True to size. Down side is Velcro in sleeves and hood but can be removed by seamstress.

I bought both this version and the "MOERDENG Women's Waterproof Ski Jacket Warm Winter Snow Coat Mountain Windbreaker Hooded Raincoat Jacket". What I prefer about this version, the "MOERDENG Women's Waterproof Ski Jacket Warm Winter Coat Outdoor Windbreaker Hiking Snowboarding Jacket", is that this version does NOT scream its brand--I dislike being a billboard. In place of the brand, name, this version has embroidery depicting a mountain range. Both coats are very well made for the price and looks like high-end ski jackets For the most part they are the same coat in cut and style. In deciding whether to keep the bright, highly visual yellow versus the black version, I decided to keep the black, which will hide the inevitable ink and stains I'll generate while enjoying this warm, waterproof jacket made for cold weather I'll be wearing it on my upcoming trip to Italy in the middle of winter's cold and rainy weather, sticking to mostly black and dark clothing while using only carry-on and personal item luggage. It is an attractive cut. Not bulky-looking, and it will look nice wearing casual and will keep me warm over my lightweight travel evening wear. I'll update my review after I return from my trip. __________ Update: I'm back from my Italy trip. This IS a warm jacket. Washes well in a gentle, non-detergent laundry product (Zum Laundry Soap) after a fellow traveler accidentally spilled red wine on my open jacket's plush front interior. Three observations did stand out during use: 1- It doesn't have any D-rings to attach something like a ski lift ticket or to keep unused gloves handy. I figure I can buy a couple of the rings and have them stitched on in a way that doesn't undermine its waterproof feature, such as the lower interior side of the interior's plush lining. 2-The edges of the velcro straps around the wrists have displayed fraying. The loose threads can be snipped around the edges--which could have been avoided if the velcro edges had serged seams. I didn't ding a star for either of these shortcomings, considering the under $40 price..."You get what you pay for." 3- A plus: Its pockets are DEEP and insulating. Two puffy gloves were easily stuffed into 1 pocket since I couldn't clip them to a non-existent D-ring. My plastic 16oz water bottle with a loose lid leaked within the other pocket and the liquid did NOT soak through to the inner side of the coat--a terry towel stuffed inside the damp pocket easily dried up the water droplets. I still consider this jacket a 5-star overall. Just thought potential purchasers would appreciate the additional feedback. I'd buy this again.
