Slight alteration on table so it would fit my machine. Works perfectly and so much easier to sew without material slipping down on my left side.

This extension table works on specific singer sewing machine models. It does say so in the description but I didn't know if my machine was from Vietnam or not so I gave it a shot. Apparently my machine is not compatible with this product. Even though the model number was listed. It doesn't fit flush because of the clips on it. I think an easy way to know is remove the storage compartment on your arm and look to see if you have some holes that you could insert the notches of this extension table on the right. My machine doesn't. I also put a snap shot of the box with the model numbers AND serial numbers that this table is compatible with for future buyers. That information would be great in the description by the way. The legs can be adjusted to the height you need just twist them until they are level. The overall quality is good. I'm giving 4 stars only because I'm disappointed it doesn't work on my sewing machine and the description doesn't include the serial number. That would have helped me make a better decision and I would have passed on this. ... show more

This fits my 4423 exactly as it is supposed to. I would prefer that that little screws were a lot more sturdy, but I can work with that. This will definitely reduce the strain on my arthritic had when moving heavy quilts through the machine! Update: The screws are working very well, no issues at all. Again, check your machine serial number, and compare it to what is listed on the product description. Any doubts, check to make sure there are little grooves where your removable supply box fits. It will not fit without those four grooves in the machine arm. for those complaining that it does not fit, the seller listed EXACTLY which serial numbers this table fits. ... show more

As mentioned by other people, make sure that your machine was made in Vietnam and that it has four small holes where this platform will be attached (second photo). My only complain is that the plastic where the legs are attached to the main body seems to be very fragile (third photo).
