I ordered Black 4 button M and got Blue 1 button Large - wrong size, wrong design, and wrong color. I feel like I need to order directly through Scarlet Darkness because my last order was perfect - ordered 5 things all came correct color and sizes. I wish they sent the correct item. My daughter likes the blue and wants both now, but blue won't work for any of her outfits, as she owns nothing blue. Pretty bummed because it's 50 bucks and now I have to buy the correct one for another 50 bucks or go through the trouble of returning this because of their mistake (amazon keeps track of your returns and if you return over a certain percentage of items, they don't let you order, but this is not my fault. I ordered correctly and they sent the wrong item). Grrr.... I'm just so sad and annoyed. But as for the item, the fabric is better than expected, sewing is better than expected and, with the cinching, the large will fit my medium daughter, who has a 36 inch over-bust, 32 inch waist, and 39 inch hip. The medium would fit better, but The cinching works and will allow for growth. If I order the one I ordered in the first place again, I will get a large for this reason. I may order some blue items so she can keep this and have things to wear with it, but I'm still peeved that they didn't get it right the first time and have no mechanism to give me a discount for ordering the correct one (which seems fair given that it won't be here in time for the party, nor will any blue items I order to go with the one they sent). ... show more

This jacket is super cute, and I had high expectations based on other comments. But the material is less like a jacket and more thinner like a very nice blouse. So it’s not a coat or jacket. But it is cute. It’s not wrinkle free and has creases from shipping. I’m going to iron it and see if it helps. I am in between an XL and XXL, so I got the XL. It is snug and does not close but there is enough stretch to make it work without it closing. I’m 5’7” and 225 lbs and very busty. I would’ve been more comfortable in the XXL but it wasn’t available. ... show more

The item was shipped and arrived quicker than expected. It was packaged well and wasn't wrinkly when I took it out. The size does fit as expected and the corset part in the back allows you to adjust. Although it does seem a bit tight in the arms/shoulder but it's not made for someone who would constantly be lifting things. I got this for my costume for Halloween (steampunk Beetlejuice). It was only labeled as striped and the photo they show looks like it's black and white, however, when looking at it in person, there are black slashes within the white stripes which makes the blazer seem more grayish that white (if this affects what colors you're looking for) ... show more

I find it pretty lightweight and quite flattering. The size can pretty much adjusted from the back but don't go too hard on it, as it is made from the same material as the rest of the piece and you don't want it to tear. My only real issue are the arms as it feels a little tight when I move them around, though I did expect that since my arms are pretty big. That's actually why I got the short sleeve version. Though- when I loosen the strings in the back it kinda fixes my issue? Just wanted to say this - I bought it for Thanksgiving but really liked it that I wanted to wear it to the Ren Faire and possibly anywhere else I'd go. Will be getting the black soon and just got a red one for Christmas. Might eventually get one with longer sleeves though more research is needed. May size up for that. EDIT: Still haven't gotten the black yet, but did get a longer sleeved one. I just seem to have an issue with the arms as mine are big. I can still put it on, but I don't like restricted movement. ... show more

This was tight across my shoulders, even with the adjustable back. I have a B cup and wear size M or S tops, and I still felt like it gaped a bit much up front, otherwise the fit was as expected. I'm broad of shoulder and my rib cage is huge and I have like no space between my ribs and my hips so things fit me weird anyway. I loved the style and the color. It looked fantastic with my costume!
