Definitely true to size. I'm 5;8", 140 lbs., and 34B bust. This medium fit well. This coat is lovely to look at and true to color. Very classic fit! The fabric looks fine.

Either I’m getting smaller or this thing runs big maybe. It fit’s extremely loosely on me and I’m not a small person. I’m 5’7” and 225lbs and got the xL. I don’t have to worry about layering uncomfort since there’s plenty of room. It was a good length. The fabric is ok. I can’t comment on how warm it is because I live in Florida and won’t get the chance to test it out until next year, maybe December.

Do you know how sometimes small is too small and medium is just too big. In this case I ordered a medium so my armpits would have room since my current small pea coat was tight up there. However, with this particular jacket, I feel small would have been best. The medium has so much room. I would consider this a large I do still plan on wearing it since in the winter I do stack up on sweaters underneath and the color is pretty nice. The length of the arms is perfect so again, I feel maybe the small may have short arms.

This is a super cute jacket. The fit is lovely. I got it for my preteen and she’s excited to wear this fall. It’s light but it does hold up well against wind. Not exactly a winter coat for where we live but great for fall and adds a cute flair to her outfits. The length is great on her as she is taller than average. Did come super wrinkled which I didn’t like but I tossed in dryer simply cause my daughter is slim so if it shrank it would still be good. Did lightly steam as well and it didn’t mess up fabric. No wrinkles now and it’s a great staple for her fall wardrobe.

This style coat is pretty much a staple for your wardrobe in cooler months. This one however doesn't fit as well as others I've tried. This one is a bit on the smaller side, even the sash is shorter than it should be. Maybe it's not made for fluffier girls? It seems pretty warm and would be a good coat, if it fit appropriately. In my photo you see it closed, but it also came undone with me just trying it on.

My usual size is XXL on Amazon due to the fact that there aren't many 1X Plus sizes. I'm not sure what the difference is but I gathered that XL, XXL,1X, XXXL ,2X are junior BIG sizes while the 1XPLUS, 2XPLUS are women sizes and made to accommodate a curvier hip and chest. That's what I gathered, having worn all of these sizes in a short period of time from gaining 45 pounds and having experienced the whole 'now I have hips that I never had before' phenomenon. See measurements in the headline. I'm familiar with the frustration felt when trying to buy online and not having any idea what size is going to fit due to the vast difference in sizing charts and not consistent sizing. That being said, this coat is tighter than most XXL that I've purchased. I almost purchased the XL upon reading the size chart. Let me go one step further and stress that I am "big boned" my arms are a mixture of muscle and some fat so if you have a smaller built and still the same measurements go by the chart. Let's face it, these charts can only go by one universal fit and not accomadate every body shape, size and build. If you have a small frame or even medium frame body then I'd go by the chart they have posted. Knowing my body is a large frame, through the process of many sizes and different styles, I chose to stay one size up and it worked for me. That is how I came to depend on reviews from other buyers and their experience and especially with the body measurements posted I avoided a lot of otherwise returned products or exchanged for size pitfalls. I hope this helps you with any decision you're unsure. This coat is a higher quality material and is lined which makes a world of difference to me. Something about having the lining that in my opinion takes it up a level in style. My arms and chest were slightly tight on me. I like a looser fit. I can still wear and button it but it's not as comfortable. I chose to use the belt and tie it, which to my surprise looked rather stylish and did not diminish the look. I got the grey marble color and it's the perfect shade of both mixtures. It's thin yet still warm which I like since the thicker bulkier coats do not do me justice with this weight on also this coat is convenient for driving and shopping.

I like this peacoat except for one minor detail and that is it has no detail in the back. There are no pleats or splits, which makes it look like a robe from the back. It has an inner lining. It's lightweight yet enough to keep you warm on chilly or windy days/nights.
