This vest is made in China of 100% polyester. It has two mesh pockets on the inside and two zippered pockets on the outside. The exterior is soft and they claim that it is waterproof. It is at least water resistant as water does seem to flow off the surface readily. I have not tried wearing it in the rain though, to see for sure. An interesting thing, look at the photo of look-alike "Good-Tex" tag. Yeah, good for a laugh. Though there is some thickness and fill, it isn't that warm. What I like: It is not cropped but goes down past the waist a little bit. You can wear it with sweatshirts. What I don't like: Size Large was a little too big for me. ... show more

    • Runs SUPER small - size way up and it may be worth it.
The sizing on this is pretty disappointed. I ordered a large and its so small, I can't even bring the two sides together to zip up without a LOT of force and potentially busting the zipper. At first, I was intent on saying that it was a complete dealbreaker and I couldn't recommend it (I can't return it, so I can't exchange for another size). That said, if you keep this in mind and size up, I think its a nice vest. It's not bulky at all, and it has pockets INSIDE, which was a first for me (and made me doubly bummed out that I cant use this). There's outer pockets as well, but I really love the inside ones. IF I were able to wear this when out for a walk, I'd definitely keep my cards/wallet and keys in the inside pockets. Potentially my phone too, but that's something I'm much more likely to grab and use while walking. So yeah, bummed for me, but size up and it might work for you. ... show more
