12/31/25: Just received this jacket. I wish I had purchased it in XL instead of the recommended XXL. It feels good on but because it's so large and bulky, I feel like I look like the "Michelan Man". The jacket is well made and I like all the zippered pockets. I had trouble unzipping the fur from the hood but after several pulls and tugs, I managed to release the fur from the hood. I also wish that it had a way to pull the waist in so it didn't look so bulky. Otherwise, I give it 4 stars because it's made well and the turquoise blue of the jacket is very pretty. ... show more

    • Cotton fill is heavy and bulky

This winter coat fits well and has a nice hood that snaps snuggly around the neck. Unfortunately, that fill inside this coat is made of cotton instead of the polyester fill in most of my coats. The cotton fill is much heavier and bulkier than poly fill resulting in a much heavier and bulkier coat that I expected. My other concern is that if this coat were to get wet and the cotton fill saturated, the cotton would be very difficult to dry and wet cotton loses its insulating quality and wouldn't keep me warm. I bought this for my granddaughter she was so excited to get it, the fit is really good. It has fur inside and she said it felt warm and good to her body when standing outside waiting for the school bus. Quality of the coat is awesome! I would recommend this coat for your child or teenager.
