I was a little confused at first at what size to order as there are some conflicting reviews. I am 5'7" and about 142 lbs and I ordered my usual size medium. They fit well and with a little room to spare, plus they do stretch. I really like the light fabric as it can be hot where I hike. I also liked the length, above the knee but not so short that your legs get burned. They have good sized pockets with zippers. I don't know why many manufacturers of hiking shorts do not use patch pockets on the back side, I find them useful and cute. That's really my only complaint! These shorts do have enough pockets though.

The construction is of quality stitching, zippers, expandable waist, tie to tighten, all four pockets zip closed, quick dry, a quiet fabric that doesn't make noise while I walk.
