IMPORTANT: THE SIZE CHART IS YOUR FRIEND!!!! I bought this for my girlfriend for an upcoming costume (will update with photos). We used the size chart and ended up getting an XL. When it came in she immediately tried it on and it fit PERFECTLY!! I was prepared to make modifications, but none were needed! I think the only thing I will end up doing is securing the decorative buttons on the sides a little better. They're just a little loose, but nothing an hour of hand sewing can't fix. That being said, the overall craftsmanship is beautiful. Very strong, secure lines. It's a heavier material, a type of stretch anti-pill fleece. It's also lined with a stretch satin. The stretch of the fabric allows for a very clean fitted look. The jacket weighs about 3-4lbs, and since this costume will be worn in the summer that will be a touch challenging, but neither of us are terribly concerned.

I followed other reviews and checked the size chart, oh, 3 times. I generally wear a size small and I ordered a size small. I’m 5 foot three 117 pound athlete with broad shoulders and a rib cage that doesn’t fit on my body. Thank you dad. Anyway, I often have issues with fitting my shoulders. This fits so beautifully! It’s actually slightly big which is good. This is for a skating performance and I need to be able to move in it. I think an extra small would’ve been too snug so Follow the size chart it is dead on. it looks fantastic. And if it’s a cold day, it’s a very warm material. I won’t have any problem with being cold on the ice. Don’t hesitate to buy one. I might even wear it to the winery. I like it that much. Minus the make up in the red wig, which is also exceptional. But that’ll be a different review.

I measured… I read every reView and considered all perceptions. I was very confident in my decision to purchase an xxl based on the Asian sizing chart as well as previous purchases. The xxl I received was GIGANTIC. My pant size ( depending on the brand ) will be from an 8-12 at any given time. I assure you, at my maximum weight… this xxl would still have at least 6 inches in the bodice just gapping. There’s no hint of that tapered waist but rather the look of a hobo jacket. Baggy. Sloppy. I had concerns that the chest would be tight but that was unfounded. I look like a male in this coat. The quality of the jacket is basic costume quality. ( I would not dare put it in a washing machine, however. ) The blue was pretty but not nearly as vibrant as the picture shown. I would only encourage this purchase if you have some flexibility. I have time to return or exchange this if I decide to do so, but it’s nothing like what I expected!

This coat is lightweight but could be worn as a regular fall coat. Dressy or dressed down. Great quality. Washed it but didn’t dry it. Still looks good. It runs kind of big so I would order a size up from your normal size. For example, I’m a size XL and ordered a XXXL in case it ran small. Totally unnecessary.
