Great quality, looks really nice and is pretty easy to put together. There aren't any instructions, but if you have the slightest handyman inclination, you'll be fine. A word to the wise: Use Loctite or this will eventually loosen up. This doesn't come with any lock washers on the main support bolt. Also, mine was protruding about 1.5" to far, so I took a dremel and cut the the main bolt down. Easy peasy.

This is an excellent tow hook bracket mount. There are two lengths of adapter for varying bumper depths, and I used the shorter of the two on my Mini. The unit sits maybe 2 inches forward of the bumper, and the 8 mounting points allow flexibility for getting your plate in any orientation you like. It was quick and easy to install, and the only additional tool I used was an adjustable wrench to hold the lock nuts while I used the supplied allen wrench to tighten the supplied bolts through the plate. On each of the fasteners, including both sides of the adapter (the threads into the tow hook receiver and the threads from the mounting bracket into the adapter), I used some hydro-phobic bicycle grease to keep water out of the threads and prevent corrosion. The unit is secure once installed and comes out nicely with just the adjustable wrench. 10/10 would recommend.

i ordered this about 6 months ago, in the winter i take my car to the car wash so i have to unscrew this from my bumper in order to not have any issues in the car wash (bumper ripping off etc) i went to go screw this back on sat and im not sure if because of the extreme cold the past few days here in ny but i went to go tighten the screw and extension with a 22mm wench before mounting the plate and the aluminum screw snapped in half. great product, but was pretty upset i had to order another one. maybe they can look at steel instead of aluminum. just a thought

It doesn't come with instructions I mean it's easy to install, and i dont like how far it sticks out from the bumper thought it would have been somewhat flushed but it arrive fast **UPDATED** its now October 2019 only held up for almost a year, id have to rate it 1 star from the 3 i had it at originally. it doesnt stay in place i find my plate vertical after driving hitting bumps iv taken it off moved it to different position holes for a more secure hold and that doesnt work i had to hammer the little bubble on the plate mount flush so it could be a little....secure i have it right now literally rigged with zip ties to keep it centered and not swinging all over the place

Pros: Easy to install, comes in two lengths Cons: No instructions This is useful for anyone looking to mount a front license plate without drilling into the front bumper. It installs easily into the tow hook mount. You'll need some pliers and the included allen wrench to install this. It doesn't come with any instructions, but it's pretty straight forward. The mount is sturdy, but can rotate if you're not careful. It definitely isn't the most solid construction, but it's good enough for $30. I installed this on an E46 M3 with no problems. Make sure to get the right one for your model.

2001 325ci. Works fine. No sensors to worry about and I have the M3 style aftermarket bumper. I did buy a returned one. The plate screw wouldn't go all the way down. A M6X1.0 tap took care of that. The manufacturer isn't pushing thread thru the hole all the way but an easy fix with a tap. Saved $6 off the normal price for 3 minutes of effort.
