I am pleasantly surprised. For the price I wasn’t expecting much. I don’t love the high percentage of polyester since it’ll make me sweat but I suppose since it’s not a crazy thick jacket the lack of breathability might help to keep me insulated. Will be using for a Christmas trip in NY. Not exactly sure how it’ll do function wise but it most definitely is gorgeous. Also the pockets are sewn shut (many high end luxury brands do this with coats) so you need to use small scissors or a seam ripper to make them functional. The tie is nice but you have to tie it twice to stay, at least in my experience. For the price though I am pleased. I plan on steaming it since there are some wrinkles

This coat is true to size, a great fit, very warm, and stylish. Absolutely love it. The only negative for me is the strange smell when it arrived. Almost like a fish type of odor. I have not tried to wash it out yet.

This coat is so warm. And the pockets are really deep. You need to remove the stich in order to use the pockets. But so nice

I bought this long jacket because I'm always cold in the winter. I need something that will cover below my knees. This item does not disappoint. I'm 5'3 and the base of the jacket falls mid calf on me. I bought a small as I am 117 lb, and the coat fits well. The sleeves fall a little below my wrist, which I do not mind as they give more coverage. There is a lining, which likely makes it warmer. There is a belt which pulls the jacket closer to you, as well. The lapel collar is quite attractive and can be pulled up if necessary. There are a few issues with the coat, however. I have taken pictures of them. There is mark that cannot be wiped off. The lining is also not smooth, and bunches in a few places. There is a blotch which looks as if some liquid stained it, so I will have to wash this before I use it. I cannot attest to how warm the coat is at this time, because we are having an extended summer in the Northeast, and temperatures are in the 70s and 80s. As a result, I can't use the item as it is too hot temperature wise. Overall, this is a decent, long coat. The biggest problem is that mark which I'm hoping will nearly be covered when I button up the jacket.

Update: After writing the review below (on the first cold morning), I finally got to wear my coat for a dog walk. I was shocked to discover that the pockets appeared to be fake. All the mechanics of the pocket were there, so that it made no sense to me that designers and manufacturers would go to the expense of creating the look of a pocket and not just create a real pocket. There was a thumb-sized opening at the top of the pocket area and a smaller opening at the bottom of the area on both sides of the coat. I thought, "Who doesn't want pockets in their coat?" When I got home from my walk, I searched reviews for the word "pocket" and found references to deep pockets. So I took a chance and used my seam ripper to release the stitching. Voila - pockets. I'm not removing a star because we're human, and things can get past us. It was easy enough for me to fix because I sew and have the right equipment. But I mention it in my review in case it happens to anybody else and they will know how to fix it. I usually stick with wool coats, but the superfund regulations in my state make the cost of dry cleaning very high ($28 last time I had a coat dry cleaned). I selected this coat when I read that it could be hand-washed at home. My initial thought after unpacking the coat was that the fabric looks like my black wool coat. I love that. It's heavy enough to keep me warm and very soft. The fit is about the same as all my coats (which are all a bit long in the sleeve; I must have short arms). I wear a small/size 4/6 shirt, so I ordered this coat in a medium. I always buy coats a size larger so I can wear bulky sweaters without feeling restricted in my coat. That said, I don't think this coat looks too big for me at all (see images). I also really like the style of the coat, especially across the upper back. The double-breasting is nice because it keeps the cold air out better than coats that button at the middle of the torso. I can't say enough good things about this coat, and the price is very reasonable for a full length heavy winter coat (paid $200 for my last winter coat, but it was wool).
