I do not remember what size I got, but I had measured my waist before buying. I used it for my cosplay costume since my character has circles as a belt. I had a lot of slack left after belting and had to cinch it in a couple of circles to keep it tight around my waist. It does have some weight to it.

When I first took it out of the package I thought it was so pretty... then it nearly cut me with the sharp edges. If you wear this over any fabric it will put pulls in it. The belt is made up of double circles, but one only had a single circle. Very poor quality overall.

I bought the larger belt to drape and make another shape. Secured in back with tiny red safety pin. Wore to firm xmas luncheon. Weight and quality is excellent for the price point. If it's kept in a protective bag while not in use, the metal will last forever. Very happy with this purchase! Shirt is on Amazon too. Black velvet button with satin cuffs & collar. Another excellent fit!
