It's a basic coat. It should keep you warm but..you are definitely not going to win any fashion awards. It goes down quite far. Protecting your legs also. The coat is basic but it does the basics well. The quality is good (the zipper is only ok) and it should last. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of any kind of fashion or shape. Otherwise this is a good top layer for those in cold states and plenty warm enough on its own in the cold part of the year in warmer areas of the country.

This super comfy coat arrived just in time for winter, plus it's a great value. The outside and inside fabric are both very soft. It's long which offers more warmth, like a blanket. The attached hood blocks wind and keeps in body heat. The snap at the neck helps to prevent wind from chilling your neck and back. The ribbed cuffs also prevent the cold from reaching you. This coat exceeded my expectations and is super warm and very comfortable. The sizing is true to size, but I got one size up to be roomy with a sweater underneath. Product Details: Shell/Lining: 100% polyester. Filling: soft down alternative Care instructions: Dry Clean recommended, or hand wash and hang to dry. Do not bleach or spin dry. Windproof, Long Coat with Attached Hood: high quality, thick quilted padded fabric creates a windproof outer layer that ensures warmth. Features: full front zipper, snap button closure at neck for extra warmth, long sleeves with ribbed cuffs, loose fit. Dual side pockets to keep your hands warm. I just received this puffer coat-VERY fast delivery! There's much to like about it, and a few things that are not so great. First the good stuff: it comes in a very handy reusable zip bag-perfect for storing little things when traveling.; the coat is REALLY long-I ordered my regular medium (5'5") and the hem reaches my calves (Note: the product description says "knee length", which is NOT accurate)-so definitely more than adequate coverage for warmth. It might be a little hard to wear when driving, but walking or riding as a passenger should be okay; the pockets are fairly deep and will fit your cellphone/keys/small wallet; and the color is rich. Now for the not-good stuff: again, the dramatic length might sometimes be an issue; it does not indicate it is water-proof, just wind-proof; the snap hood fits oddly; and most concerning, the zipper is dodgy-it does not open and close smoothly-too soon to know if this will become a major issue going forward. All that said, for the price, it's almost a steal and will be useful for everyday winter wear.

This particular coat arrived just in the nick of time to save us at a frigid parade. It was 20 degrees, but somehow the kids still thought it was worthwhile for the candy (yes, I tried to convince them I'd buy any candy at the grocery store). Fortunately, this coat had just arrived - literally it was in the vacuum packaging and still in the car. As someone who grew up in a very warm climate, I'm still amazed at effective outdoor gear and how much of a difference the proper clothing makes to having a fun time. A long puffer coat will change your relationship to the great outdoors!! I'd highly recommend this one - it's Christmas-parade tested and approved!!

I work outside a lot and this is now go-to winter parka and a full length one is a plus to keep my Legs warm. I love the simplicity of the jacket but how warm it keeps me. It’s not too puffy and I can easily roll it and tuck it into the hood when I need to pack it. I also love that I can unzip it from the bottom when I need a bit more range of motion in the legs. Today was 35 degrees in the morning and with the wind and windchill I was warm the entire time!

On the positive side, I really like how it looks when paired with a bright hoodie, it’s literally not bulky, and the detachable hood adds versatility. The double closure (zippers and snaps) feels secure, and the high collar can be buttoned up snugly, which keeps the neck warm on windy days. The material feels decent, and it’s lightweight for the warmth it provides. The color I chose is a muted green, slightly darker than it looked in image, but still nice. One thing to note is the length. I’m 5’6", and it hits midway down my calves and look longer than I expected.
