I am a veteran construction worker and have worn these boots for years. They are good value for the dollar, and the light insulation is fine for all year round in the Northwest. One caveat - the insoles (removable) are a joke - looks like a $2.00 unit from a discount store - way too thin! Remove them and replace with a thicker, more shock absorbent insole and you'll have a great pair of boots! ... show more

Fitment on the left boot is near unbearable comfort wise. I constantly try to adjust it to make it comfortable. Would not recommend.

Sure wish they still made the 6" version. My go to boots for 20 years. 8" lace up is just too much for me. My feet just don't sit right on these the heal and ankle. Feel awkward to me. Allowed my heal to lift off the sole every step. Tried several different insoles but nothing seemed to do the trick. As I said tried to make them work. In the meantime got them dirty at work and don't think I can return now. Don't wear them anymore $80 down the tube. Wolverine, please bring back the 6" version of this boot. ... show more

    • Good winter boot fairly priced.
I bought these boots for winter storm use, mainly clearing snow with my tractor. They will do the job. For the money, they are a passable substitute for the old reliable Canadian made Dunham's that I wore back when I was a power lineman. If I could still get the original Dunham's though, I'd pay the difference; although most people probably wouldn't notice better quality. ... show more
