Having used these boots 5 days a week for the past 2 years I think I can reliably review these boots, especially since I just bought my second pair. For starters, they have great support. I work the ramp at an airport and I've never felt my feet cramp up the way they did in lesser boots. Plus they handle the elements incredibly well, even with a couple years on them. I can definitely see myself buying another pair after these go out, but luckily with the build quality of these that won't be any time soon.

These are light like a sneaker with leather that bends well with movement yet wears like bull Hyde. It's light because of the composite toe which feels like it offers full protection. I think it has good grip on surfaces and feels water resistant. Wouldn't call it waterproof but could easily add a sealer. The reflective side of sole is nice as I ride motorcycle to work often. I have the black and brown and they lasted 2 years of industrial construction before replacement and offered full support in the arch and I think it feels like it has a composite shank. The ones I replaced are still good if I need them. Only replaced because were dirty and didn't feel like cleaning them. I recommend these. Good price, fit and wear. I have a slightly wide foot for a 7 to 7 1/2 mens. Some brands start at size 8 men's and it's disappointing.

Just ordered two different pair of the same boot here. One black and one brown. BOTH are consistent in these ways. Stitching is designed for longevity. The fit is EXACTLY as described, I need a wide in my size and that's always a 50/50 chance. Leather is top notch and doubled up even on the inside of the lace strip. Tongue is shaped comfortably around the shoe and when pulled tight there is just enough room to kneel and bend without pinching. Just a great boot!! Worth the money which is above average. I have worn this brand for the last 7 years. Fits comfortably. Durability is the concern on every boot purchased. Lasting a year seems a stretch, along with seam failure on the side of the boot on every set owned which led to this purchase. Maybe Wolverine can work on resolving that seam issue. But, comfortable for me.

I purchased these boots for my son who lives out of state. He went and got measured as a size 9 at a shoe store before I ordered online. I ordered him the 9. They were huge! So ordered him an 8.5. Still too large. Since reviews were good on Amazon and other websites, tried again with a size 8. He decided on the 8's and wore them to work (he's an apprentice electrician). By the end of the day, his feet were soaked from sprinkling rain (not a down pour) and after 1 day of wear he said his feet were sore and he should have gotten a size 7.5. So beware of sizing... Our experience is that these run 1.5 sizes too big. These seem to be more fashionable work boots vs. serious work boots. If you work in the trades, you may want to shop for something else. Ended up buying Red Wings at a local store. Thank you Amazon for a generous return policy!
