I've been buying Wolverine brand boots for a while now, and these live up to my high expectations of the brand. Comfortable, flexible, and durable. I work security at a welding production plant in Florida, so there's a lot of walking and a lot that can tear up shoes pretty quickly, but these have been going strong, and being waterproof is always important in Florida, and I can say that my feet stay dry. I usually go for steel toe, but I think I am starting to prefer composite now, as it's lighter and easier on the toes overall. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they're worth it, I have gotten years of use out of each pair. ... show more

Ordered both my true to size 10 and a 10.5. The 10.5 fit better with more room in the toe box. So I would say 1/2 up your normal size so your toes don’t touch the composite toe if you have normal sized feet. I work at in a production line doing 15k steps a day, working 12 hr shifts 3-4 days a week and these boots didn’t work out for me. The boots felt really comfortable only for the first couple hours then after that my legs and feet get sore. After the end of my shift I can’t wait to change them out running shoes. I really thought I could trust all these reviews about the comfort but your mileage will vary. ... show more
