    • This Wolverine Rev Comp-Toe Boot SAVED My Feet!!!
Size: 12 X-Wide Color: Black
Due to long work hours in closed/full-leather work boots, I'd been fighting an ongoing battle with athlete's foot. At one point, due to scratching-the-itch, I sustained a dreaded secondary infection, on my left foot metatarsal(?) area, which caused it to swell up like a baseball, with painful inflammation, severely, adversely affecting walking. I realized I needed a mesh/vented work boot that would breathe, and found these in a local mega/grocery store. Although I normally wear a size 11M, in fitting I had to keep sizing up until I found a size that didn't hurt to wear (a size 14M for my case). Now able to walk more normally, I was able to continue working with no missed days. With the addition of a fasting regimen (just took a few electrolytes daily without eating food 3-5 days at a time), the swelling and pain began to subside, and I was fully healed and back to normal in less than two weeks, no doctor visits, no medications. A good mesh work boot like this Wolverine Rev Comp Toe is a MUST, if you spend long hours on your feet and require safety-toed footwear!!! ... show more

It was mostly a good fit but I had to return it right away because the composite toe was squeezing my big toes -- felt like they were in a clamp. My case might be rare because the nail on my big toes have raised and become more bulbous ever since I started working in a warehouse 8 months ago, being on my feet for 7-10 hours a day. ... show more

My husband is an officer and is on his feet all day. He said These provide good cushion and support, but the edge of the reinforced toe box has started rubbing on the top of his foot. We’ve had them for a little over a month.

I should've read the fine detail about these boots... Even though they fit great, feel great, the composite / steel toe doesn't feel great. I can not go at an 8 to 10 hour shift with it. If the boots didn't have the composite / steel toe these would be absolutely perfect for me!!!!
