I really like the boots' construction. They seem well made and look nice too. But my problem with all shoes is that I have a very wide foot, especially for my shoe size. I would normally take about a 9.5, maybe a 10 to help with the width. I ordered a 10.5 X-Wide, and the toe box is just about wide enough. I suspect if I'd ordered a 10 or 9.5 in X-Wide I'd have to send back. The other issue is the instep and vamp. The throat of the boots is so narrow (or I have very high arches) that it is a bit of work and a squeeze to get my feet in them past the bottom of the uprights. I had bought these to be slip on work boots so that I didn't have to bother with lacing up. . .but now instead I have to fight to get my foot past the instep/vamp. I guess I just traded one effort for another. If you are ordering boots for X-Wide feet, you'd think they'd make sure all measurements accommodated X-Wide feet.

I lied, I previously left a 3/5 rating, but ive changed my mind. Been using these boot for 2 years now every day use and working, and they've held up pretty good. Only bad thing is the rubber on the soles and the insoles durability. Either way for 130 bucks canot beat these boots. Get em. 🤘

I purchased these boots to replace my worn out pair of Irish setters and these boots are fairly comfortable to work in and the sizing is accurate for me, but the lining at the top of the boot where its sewn to the leather rubs my calf which after an hour of walking/working around the shop it hurt to continue working. Yes I wear socks that are longer than the boot but after about 10 steps my socks slide down just enough to then cause my leg to come in contact with the seam which then causes a rug burn like irritation on my leg making it unbearable to move around. I have added electrical tape to the problem areas and it seems to have fixed the issue but, for the price of the boots I believe its unacceptable for a QC issue like this to happen. I fortunately did not pay the regular price but a sale price of $90. If I had to choose between these boots at regular price and a pair of redwings/Irish setters I would go with the slightly more expensive redwings/Irish setters. I have never experienced such a problem with any pair of boots that I've owned and I have owned many pairs of cheap walmart boots that dont last longer than a year but are still better than these boots.
