My husband has been wearing Ariats for years, useing them around the house and for work. The last 2 pairs I bought him didn't even last a year and the soles almost completely separated. For a boot that I used to pay $80 for and now you want $165 (yes, more than doubled) I expect it to last 5+years like they used to. For our anniversary I bought him these boots to try out and what a difference. Comparing the 2 brands you can just tell the wolverines are better, sewn better, and has thicker leather. They fit him perfectly and the price was much closer than what I used to pay for ariats. These are still new so can't comment on the longevity yet, but if the hold on more than 6 months I'll consider it a win and come back for more. ... show more

    • Great Boot but run a little big.
Size: 11 Color: Dark Brown
I received these today and immediately put them on and they are nice Boots. I left for the Grocery Store and walked for a while and the Leather breaks in fairly fast and start to become more comfortable. I wear a 12 tennis shoe and ordered an 11m in these and they are still a bit loose but just fine with a thicker sock and almost wish I would have ordered a 10 1/2 and stretched them a little bit the 11 is just fine. There is very little arch which is just fine with me. I tried on these exact pair in size 11 at Super Shoes and they were REALLY snug so that’s why I ordered an 11 but after receiving these they are different by about 3/8’s to 1/2 an inch in length. I’m not sure why if these are factory seconds or what but it’s easier to stretch a Boot to get it to fit perfectly than to add socks, the Boot will never quite feel like you want it to. I own several Leather Boots and know how they should fit right outta the Box, nice and snug with a tiny bit of heel slippage and that’s about what these are doing so maybe I’ll keep these. I got them half price also like new from the Warehouse with tags still on them. Great Boots and yes 100% Leather!!! Semper Fidelis UPDATE ON SECOND DAY These are great Boots but plan on getting different Insoles shipped with them if you order, I removed and replaced the thinnest hardest foam POS I’ve ever seen in a Boot with the Insoles from a pair of ASICS sneakers I have and I like my Wolverines again. I’m not Joking the insoles are garbage and I’m sending a picture to Wolverine right after this and ask them how freaking dare they sell these. I’m saying get a flap from a thin cardboard box and trim it to fit your Boot and it’ll be an improvement. Semper Fidelis ... show more

I absolutely love these boots. I work in a machine shop and use them daily for work and they are comfortable all day long. They are also very durable. If you get any scratches on them they are easy to clean and will look like new after a quick wipe down. These were my first pair of work boots and I always recommend them to my friends and family. I’ve convinced a couple of my coworkers to buy a pair and they also love the boots. They run a little small, I usually wear a size 9 but the size 8.5 fit perfect. They will mold to your foot and be one of the most comfortable pair of boots that you own. ... show more

Best wearing boots ever, they also out last the other brands. I'm extremely tough on my boots and normally get 6to 8 monntha out of other brands (much more expensive brands) my wolvies are giving me up to 2 years of service and thats incredible the way I am on them. 7 days a week in hard conditions and very rough wear. And so comfortable. This is my fourth pair of this same boots and I love them! I've worn Rocky's which I hated, Ariat (ok, Georgia boot (pretty good) and others, but never again. My son has been searching for these type of boots, in store, for months. I finally convinced him to try them from Amazon and he couldn’t be happier. Exactly as expected and wanted but for a better price. 5/20 Just wanted to add an update so people can make an informed decision before buying. These boots are not worth the money you pay! I originally gave these a 5 star rating, however, we had to have these boots replaced TWICE! First time was maybe 2 months in and the leather started separating from the base. We contacted Amazon, who then directed us to Wolverine. They immediately had us take pictures and send it to them and they asked us to pick out 3 replacement boots w/sizes so they could send replacement (they ask for 3 just in case first choice(s) aren’t available), but before they send them out, you have to cut the boots to make them unwearable and send those pictures in so they know you have destroyed them. The whole process was fairly quick, so for that, I gave the 1 star because customer service was quick to address and replace them. However, the second pair of boots did basically the same thing and that was just a few weeks after replacements arrived. I understand the possibility of 1 defective pair but 2?!? Nope! That’s just poor workmanship and that’s a shame! Spending $100 on a pair of boots should guarantee you some sort of quality! My husband buys his work boots at Walmart for about $40 and yes, he does have to replace them every 6-8 months but I would expect that for the price. I do NOT accept that for $100 boots that don’t even last for 2 months! Plus, my husband’s boots need to be replaced because the soles wear out, not because they come apart! I would NEVER buy another Wolverine product! ... show more
