  • Darn good work boots!
Size: 10 Color: Summer Brown
I work with heavy construction materials in a warehouse and they do their job very well. The nonslip qualities of the soles works as it should, even on grease on an already smooth floor. The composit toe has already saved my toes many times from having to file for workman's comp...took an H block from 4 feet up in a direct hit and is still intact and protecting my toes. They're just the right height to allow me to bend and flex my ankles ane soles are flexible enough to allow me to kneel comfortably. The inside of the shoe is a bit hard so I bought some nice cushy insoles but that was the only partial complaint I have and it is easily solved. Also the ones I ordered match my company colors so my coworkers keep complimenting me on them. I also hike and boulder on occasion and I will say this, if you're buying these for that purpose...don't. Yes they are bendy bendy but not enough toake climbing on rocks safe. Yes they are comfortable, but not an hours long hike in 100+°F heat comfortable. And while breaking these in, I would recommend wearing semi thick socks as the seams inside are designed to wear during that process and you will get blisters if your socks are to thin. Overall great workboots. ... show more

  • Very nice boots and I'll be buying them again.
Size: 11 X-Wide Color: Black/Grey
I'm given a budget for uniforms and a store I can shop from. I've always ended up with the Shoes for Crews steel toed boots. After being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, these Wolverines were on the list of recommended work boots from my podiatrist. My feet are wide and these Wolverines work well enough for me. I still get pain being on my feet all day and hopefully that will clear up the more I progress with physical therapy. But these are far and away much better quality than any of my work boots in the past. I'm usually wearing out the toe tips as I crawl around equipment. But these have held up very well. I'd say these might run a little small. In other boots and shoes I'm usually a 10.5 wide and I had to buy 11 wide in these. And their wide doesn't seem as wide as some other boots, maybe a hair narrower. But they still feel wide enough for me. ... show more

  • Best boots we've every had
Size: 10.5 Color: Black/Grey
I got these work boots for my boyfriend who's career is in the trades. He works physically hard and all of his work boots were wearing out, hurting his feet etc. I ordered these and he instantly noticed how amazing they are. The steel toe part is light weight and doesn't hurt his toes like his other ones had. But it still does the job. He has dropped things and lifted heavy things with his foot without any discomfort. They have really great pading where you need it. They stay dry, odor free, and have great traction unlike his previous work boots. He has had them for a few months now and still continues to comment how comfortable they are. They have not worn out or broken down at all yet. We will absolutely be buying only these the rest of his career life. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Nice Shoes
Size: 14 Color: Dark Coffee New
Nice looking, comfortable shoes. I ordered 1 size larger than my usual size based on them being safety toe. They fit well and don't pinch my toes. They are composite toes but still pretty heavy. The soles are flexible and they are comfortable to kneel in. It remains to be seen how durable they are. They are definitely warm, perhaps too warm for summer, but I haven't found many safety shoes that are cool. ... show more

  • Highly recommend!
Size: 8.5 Color: Summer Brown
These shoes are the best. I would always buy the Timberland work boots, but now that I've worn these, they are my new favorite boots. I've been using these boots for a couple of months. They are very comfortable. I am on my feet on all day long walking all day at work. At the end of the day, my feet don't hurt. If you are using cheap shoes like I used to years back, switch to some shoes like these. They are worth it. Your feet will thank you. I love the look and I love these new shoes. I would highly, highly recommend. ... show more

  • I'm satisfied and my rating is now a 5
Size: 9.5 X-Wide Color: Dark Coffee
First the negatives, the label inside the tongue is plastic instead of cloth like most decent boots. The side material that attached the tongue to the boot would be perfect if it was slightly higher. They're not very extra wide. Now the positives, They are waterproof and are keeping my feet dry and warm enough with a basic pair of socks. I expect them to be a one winter boot. Good laces, and the nobs you put your laces through are properly positioned for a good snug fit. The toes are tough enough that when I kicked ice off a vehicle by the wheel well, it didn't tear or scuff at -18º. I went through 4 pairs of other brands, including expensive ones to find these will work. I've had better boots, but had to pay more. I'm happy with what I paid for what I got, so much so that I bought 6 pair, so I'm good for this winter and the next 5 winters. I'm tired of companies making something decent and then changing it the next year. That's why I stocked up. I double knot the laces and have them on all day and the ranch isn't destroying them right off like some boots. They have a pretty good grip even on slick surfaces. As long as my feet stay dry, they stay warm with basic jock socks. I'm happy. Update 2/19- The stitching isn't holding up and I haven't used them rough. It's unraveling opposite of the orange insignia where the black meets the leather. Either the thread is cheap and or any glue/sealant used simply isn't holding and it's separating. One and 1/2 months and the boots are coming apart. The rest of the boot is fine but snow melts and goes into the boot. It's Literally right where the bottom lace eyelets are and your foot bends. It's past where I can return them without getting spanked so I figure I have to raise Cain with Wolverine. I have 6 pairs of these as I wanted to be set for a few years and didn't anticipate this happening. This is a fatal flaw in the boot construction. They should be glued at this part of the boot and a better thread used in case the stitching fails. Now I'm Bummed. I ordered these on Dec 31, 2020 when the worst of winter was over. This BITES. 3rd Update: It's Oct 15,2021. The patch I made with silicone held up where the thread came out. These boots have taken a beating and my feet only got wet when snow or water came over the top. They have worn like iron and we've just had 3 days of snow and mud. It's all white and wet outside. My feet are still dry and warm with just a pair of athletic socks. I wore them in the summer when I had to be in wet pastures and my feet stayed dry. The soles have help up tremendously well and so have the toes. While they're heavier than some other boots out there, they have held up well. I'm surprised they held up as well as they have. The shank hasn't broken like they did in Danner boots and they have Keen boots beat by a mile. Where the stitching came loose and I applied a small silicone patch, never got any worse. One thing I did right at the start was use one entire can of silicone on both boots as I do all my boots. WHile not looking as good as some might like, they took a licking and I kept on kicking in them to get mud and such to release from the soles. Best boots for durability I've had in a long time. My feet did get some heat rash on them in the summer because they're sealed so well. I can't believe I'm headed into another winter with them. ... show more
