I waited until after a full winter/spring of use before writing a review. I'll start saying they are pretty heavy and chunky compared to other mock toes . I got true to size with plenty of room these especially have a high toe box .I could have sized down a half size no problem. They did well in the cold and for work or daily wear and with snow no issues. the build and material seem pretty good. Pretty comfortable once you get used to the blocky weighted boot itself. Long winded way of saying all things considered it's a pretty solid boot for most tasks.. side note in my opinion not the best boot for driving long distance you're away from the peddle a good bit that's just something to keep in mind if you drive equipment or vehicles long periods ... show more

My husband swears this are the best shoes ever made for construction. He said he doesn’t have to break them in. Also I bought same ones for my son for summer job and he had blisters everywhere because shoes where stiff and hards I guess depends on the person. My husband used them everyday and lasted almost a year in pretty good condition. They do get stinky after a while ... show more

I work hard in the construction INDUSTRY and good tough boots are key in foot PPE. To be honest I don't have a down side to these boots. These boots have done me good and I have been wearing these same boots for about two years and are still standing as good as the day I got them!

I love the loose toe box. I purchase these to replace 3 pair of sole delaminated Keen work boots. I have worn Keen's for over 25 years for their large toe box, but they seem to have cheapened the sole assembly process. I tried on many boots without adequate toe box fit. I have worn these boots everyday for farm / ranch use, and so far they are working great, and the sewn on welt soles is much better for durability. These boots have kept their upper leather flexibility, and have not dried out in weeks of dry desert dust. I have done lots of kneeling to lay trenched piping and to connect irrigation fittings. So far, there has been no leather cracking, scuffing, or delamination and the leather toes have been coated in mud, but after hosing off the mud, the leather is still supple, the dye has not faded, and the leather still looks new. ... show more
