The i-90 work boot features wolverine’s epx anti-fatigue technology that brings comfort closer to the foot. The epx technology conserves and returns energy to fight fatigue and features a footbed with a honeycomb heel that expands and absorbs impact, a cushioned midsole, and a rubber lug outsole. All components work together to provide unrivaled comfort and support step after step. A waterproof full-grain leather upper combined with a waterproof plus breathable membrane ensures feet stay dry all day long.

Boots are comfortable but the bottoms are a plastic so if you are doing hot work you will end up melting the bottoms of them The very first day I wore mine it melted the bottom on accident. All these boots that are short have these plastic bottoms. I've had ariats that had same bottom.(hot work means using a torch and molten metal getting on ground). When I melted the bottom of the boot I never smelled or felt it burning didn't realize I had done it until I took my boots off. ... show more

Right away I replaced the factory inserts with Dr. Scholls and these have turned into an nice pair of waterproof work boots minus the sizing discrepancy(I wear a size 10 according to the sizing instrument at the shoe store).
