I use them only occasionally, I work in the office of an manufacturing facility, and when I have to spend time in the shop, steel toes are required. I have owned other brand steel toe boots/shoes and these are superior. Very comfortable. They do not fatigue your feet like others I have owned. They are not too heavy; some others I have worn were like dragging around bricks. These are only slightly heavier than non-toe boots. Fit as expected, 10.5 was 10.5, no issues. Quality workmanship, which you should expect at this price point. Genuine leather uppers, with mesh to help your feet breathe. These are darn near impossible to get my foot into in the morning because the opening is kinda small, but once my foot is through that hole and ive got em tied, boy do these suckers provide some support around the ankle. Just picked up a 2nd set of these so glad they are still available. Owned the first set 14 months of daily wear. In that time I had to replace the laces, put shoe inserts (I have flat feet, and heel issues so I always am adding inserts) and most recently both pairs busted center of the lacing as shown in the picture. Overall they held up well for 12hr days in a construction type environment. This is most definitely one of the longest pair of boots I have had. Not many brands that I have used have even lasted 1 year. For me the price/value worked out well and I am happy to slide into a new pair.     • Protective toe box too tight

A very well built work boot and I had high hopes. But, I bought the size that fits and the protective toe box was unforgiving. Everything fit right and felt good except all my toes in the toe of the boot. I tried them for two weeks with nothing but pain. I like the boot so much I gave it another shot an bought another set one half size bigger and again walking around the house for five minutes was nothing but pain. The second set will be returned. The protective toe box squeezes your big toe and fourth toe together in a rub that produces pain. I think this is my 15th pair of Wolverine work boots, about 11 of them have been of the "hiker" variety as opposed to all leather. All have had steel or composite toes, and most of them were also EH (electrical hazard) rated. 10.5M has always fit me well, and these were no different. I'm glad their sizes have been so consistent over the years, makes it easy to order them online. Besides my current daily hiker EH safety toe boots, I usually have one metatarsal hiker pair, one all leather waterproof pair in my truck (for places that require such), and one spare all leather and one spare hiker at home. I have worn these to break them in, which doesn't take much with the hiker types, takes more with the regular all leather work boots. Now back in the box they go, waiting their turn as daily work wear. The hiker versions last me about a year on average. I usually wear the tread down pretty well in that amount of time, and by then something else wear wise has made itself known about 8 times out of ten, like a seam or something else. Are these the most expensive work boots I have ever owned? Oh heck no. Wolverines have been by far the most cost effective and still be really comfortable. Nothing sucks worse than a pair of uncomfortable/rough work boots. ... show more

The boot I received looks like the boot shown innad but the insole isn't the same , the one I received doesnt match what the product video shows being pulled out of the boot . The one I got is thin and offers no give is solid as a rock . Not a comfortable boot at all nothing you wanna be stuck in all day . Will be ditching as soon as new pair from another brand arrives!! ... show more
