Had these for about a month now, had some ankle pain you’ll see in the reviews but I stopped using the first quick hook and it’s been fine. Once the young worked in I could use them without any pain. I upgraded the insoles to my liking and they feel great now. Saw them on “buy again” and they were 51% off! Bought another pair immediately. I’ll update in 6 months how there holding up. I wear them around 55 hours a week on a concrete shop floor, so we’ll see

I had wanted these for a while. I saw the 6" Carbons at Bass Pro Shops and knew my old fatefuls were nearing their end. A year later, they're sold out, and my go tos are on life support. I tried what was on the shelf and have experience with Wolverines, so had a solid Idea of what size I needed versus what was on the shelf then. THESE ARE PERFECT! Sized just right, and no break-in! I fell into the workboot life with living in icy places, and working warehouses and other "steel-toes required" gigs. Unlike most, I live in these things, so I've definitely found a new pair of faithfuls. From day 1! Took them out on the trails, laced all the way up. My feet are warm and dry every time. That include walking through the mud and traversing a few running rivers. Nevermind a few naysayers who can't admit they got the back ones off the production line (or sweaty feet).... That and being under cars, around dropping tools and such, my feet been perfectly protected in these

I really like these boots but the one take away is one the left boot tounge has a piece of leather that presses on my ankle. The right one doesn't have this problem and I hope breaking in the boots will resolve it.
