I bought these because they looked cool and they are Wolverine, which is a brand I like. I don’t work construction, I’m not walking rebar or climbing piles of fill dirt and gravel all day. So I can’t say whether they would hold up to heavy use. If I had to guess I’d say probably not. But for daily wear around the office or working in the yard, they are very comfy and light.     • Great boot - light and comfortable
I have used Timberland Pro boots for years and got two years out of my last pair. Some of the recent reviews of Timberland weren't great and, the version I used to buy had gotten a little pricey so I thought I'd try these Wolverine's. Glad I did - they were true to size and comfortable out of the box, no real break-in needed as far as I am concerned. Light, great cushioning and, they they are just as comfortable at hour 8 as hour 1. Haven't been in any wet conditions yet so I can't speak to how waterproof they are or how the wet traction is but, so far so good! ... show more

I have had several pairs of wolverine boots. Most were duroshock non slip. First pair of hellcats. The cushion in the sole of the boot is soft. I do construction work and this boot holds up to every terrain I come across. Well made and sturdy!

    • Good for working on concrete floors.
They're great for working on concrete floors, especially if you like to move fast. Easy on the knees. Soles are platform-thick which is kinda goofy, but it beats the knee pain caused by most work boots. They need a break-in, but overall decent experience.

On my feet 8 to 10 hours a day on stable and unstable grounds in construction. Being waterproof is nice, haven't been able to test that one yet. I am only 2 days into wearing them at work. So far they have been amazing. Very comfortable and supportive. I will update After wearing a few weeks

    • Most comfortable boot I've ever worn!
I've worn cowboy boots most of my life and largely viewed lace ups wiht disdain as being too heavy, too stiff, and too cumbersome to put on every morning. As I've gotten older, I've developed arthritis in my right foot from multiple metatarsal breaks from my younger, dumber days. I also have Plantar fasciitis in both feet. I've tried ropers, hiking boots, and a plethora of inserts in my boots to help, but ultimately, most only lessen the pain, but don't prevent it. These boots allow me to walk, stand and work pain free! An added bonus is the ability to purchase Wolverine inserts for them when the ones they came with wear out. I'm so impressed I ordered another pair from Wolverine in a different color. ... show more
